EVERQUEST FROSTFELL EVENTS

Where to find them and how to do them!

One can always tell, when it is Frostfell. - Bonzz

Each year, starting around mid to late November, the Frostfell Events are activated and can last into January.

It is only during this time that these events can be pursued. There are Achievements related to these events.

In the past, News Year Celebration events were sort of bulked together with Frostfell. However, in 2022 the New Year Celebration was renamed to the Lantern Festival and thus, clearly differentiated from Frostfell. As a result, the New Year Events that were once on this page have been move to their own page (click here).

The original Frostfell Series (2006) are a progressive set. Due to their set up, they are not all active right away, but are initiated in a times sequence. Phase 1 lasts about 12 Days; then Phase 2 starts and lasts about 15 Days; and then the last stage starts and endures for the rest of Frostfell (maybe 8 days).

Download and unzip this file to the 'storyline' folder of your EverQuest directory to have access to a generic, simplified version of these quests, in game, via your Story Window (Alt N)! NOTE: This file can be updated in the event of typo corrections, errors and new events... so you may need a fresh re-download / re-install every so often.

A new type of Achievement was added during the 26th Anniversary... 2025 Live Events (complete certain 2025 Holiday, Season and Anniversary Achievements... except collect sets), one (1) of which is from 2025 Frostfell (Achievement: Giftis Waylayus).

The 2025 Frostfell Event introduced a new zone called 'Gifty Giver.' Originally, there was a 2025 Raid event planned ('Grinnuch's Revenge'), with Raid Challenges ('The Grinnuch's Revenge (Raid Challenge)' for two (2) challenges) and Achievements (plus a Visage of the Gifty Giver Goblin illusion award), that appears to have been scrapped at the last minute. Maybe the raid will resurface in the future.

Also newly introduced were two (2) new specialty vendor types (they are located in Gifty Giver as well as the Commonlands tunnel)... a Frostfell fanatic & a Frostfell enthusiast. They are both tied to the Marketplace (/marketplaceand sell Frostfell related Marketplace items for Daybreak Cash (try to buy and item and a window ill pop up that will apply paid member discounts, if you qualify).

SEARCHING FOR CLUES (2006)

1) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: You are looking for a Frostfell Goblin (by the trees / rocks, near the big bank) (/waypoint 265, 315, -125).

Hail him and follow along, or just say, 'Help' to get this quest.

NOTE:  Most of the NPC's in the 2006 Frostfell Quest Series can also be found in a number of other Zones (such as starting city zones). They all give the same non-repeatable quests.

NOTE: This is part of a progressive series of quests. These quests will not activate all at the same time. Instead, they will activate over time, as Frostfell continues, in three (3) phases. In short, if you can't get a quest, it may be because the next 'phase' has not started yet.

.

2) SOUTH DESERT OF RO: You are here to loot five (5) items.

Head to the beach near the docks, where you should see a lot of a grimp. Kill them until you have looted one (1) each of Clue: A Broken Toy; Clue: A Snowball with a Rock in It; Clue: A Symbol of Innoruuk; Clue: Fragment of a Charm Scroll; and Clue: Fur from A Mammoth.

NOTE: The Quest says "Any" zone and there are a lot of zones... where a grimp can be found... that you could go to. If items just aren't dropping for you, you can try some of the other zones if you like (Everfrost Peaks, The Commonlands, Qeynos Hills, Butcherblock Mountains & The Rathe Mountains).

.

3) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: Head back a Frostfell Goblin (/waypoint 255, 310).
