The 26th Anniversary took place in 2025, during The Outer Brood expansion.

After a two-year drought, they finally added one (1) new item (a mount, noted below) was added to the Anniversary Vendor (a jubilant merchant), giving reason to pursue Commemorative Coins again.

In 2025, EverQuest also put out a free Music Play List for EverQuest: The Outer Brood & EverQuest II Scars of Destruction (Amazon; Apple iTunes; Pandora; Spotify; & You Tube Music).

Additionally, All Access Members were awarded some free items just for logging in between March 16, 2025 & April 20, 2025: Metamorph: Jade Prowler Cub; Level 100 Heroic Character; & a Goblet of Adventure II. All Players were awarded a free Blade of Jade Ornament (convertible to a Staff of Jade Ornament or a Shield of Jade Ornament).

DIARY OF THE JADE - THE DISCOVERY (Solo)

1) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET: You are looking for Firiona Vie, who is at a building in the southwest (/waypoint -1700, 2140).

Hail Firiona Vie and follow along, or just try saying, "Hunt," to get this task.

You will get a Letter from Firiona Vie.

NOTE: If you are still working on Achievement: 26th Anniversary: Hidden Items, while you are here, you may as well check to see if any new 'a jade statue' are in place that you may still need.

2) MISTY THICKET: You are looking for Dreezil Stickens, who is hiding by a stump to the southwest (/waypoint -450, 700).

Give Dreezil Stickens the Letter from Firiona Vie and then follow along for an update.

3) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: If you don't all ready have some Gouda Cheese, head over to Chef Denrun (/waypoint -300, 760, -90) and buy one.

4) DRAGON NECROPOLIS: You are looking for Chex, who is in the rat caves (/waypoint 565, 460, -160).

Give him the Gouda Cheese and then follow along for an update.

You will get a Diary of the Jade Binding (a container).

5) DRAGON NECROPOLIS: Head to the main Chetari area of the caves (area of /waypoint 520, -520).

You are here to find the missing pages by killing a chetari scrounger and finding ground spawns (all about this area of the caves), as follows:

• Dairy of the Jade, Page 1; Dairy of the Jade, Page 2; Dairy of the Jade, Page 4; & Dairy of the Jade, Page 6 all drop from a chetari scrounger (don't bother killing respawns as they will drop the same page every time).
• Dairy of the Jade, Page 3 is a ground spawn (/waypoint 890, -145).
• Dairy of the Jade, Page 5 is a ground spawn (/waypoint 1155, -520).
• Dairy of the Jade, Page 7 is a ground spawn (/waypoint -2005, -255; or /waypoint 420, -2175; or /waypoint 210, -1960).
• Dairy of the Jade, Page 8 is a ground spawn (/waypoint -415, -675).

Once you have all eight (8) pages, put them in the Diary of the Jade Binding and combine them to make a Diary of the Jade Binding, Recompiled.

6) DRAGON NECROPOLIS: Head back to Chex.

Give Chex the Diary of the Jade, Recompiled (he will give it back) and then hail him for an update.

7) EMERALD JUNGLE: You are looking for Asarrus, who is in a building at /waypoint 3910, 335.

Hail Asarrus and following along then give him the Diary of the Jade, Recompiled to him.

You will get a Diary of the Jade, Decrypted.

8) MISTY THICKET: Head back to Dreezil Stickens.

Hail him to finish this task.

DIARY OF THE JADE - THE SEARCH (Solo)

1) MISTY THICKET: You are looking for Dreezil Stickens, who is hiding by a stump to the southwest (/waypoint -450, 700).

Hail Dreezil Stickens and follow along, or just try saying, "Still Interested," to get this task.

2) STONEBRUNT MOUNTAINS: You are looking for Mihrr, who is in the tunnel under the camp in the mid-north of the zone. He is on Find (/waypoint 2090, -325).

Hail Mihrr and follow along for an update.

Next, head to the northeast area of the zone to find and a highland kobold warrior (they roam about, mostly in the snowy areas) and loot four (4) Highland Kobold Claw.

Once done, head back and give the four (4) Highland Kobold Claw to Mihrr., then hail him and follow along for some updates.

3) DULAK'S HARBOR: You are here to:

• Kill eight (8) 'Broken Skull' Pirates (any type).
• Head onto the 'Lady Dirulia' (boat) for a location update (/waypoint -1300, -1025).
• Find Deckhand Mindy, who is on the 'Dandolak's Run' (boat) (on Find) (/waypoint -285, -1935) for an update.
• Hail Deckhand Mindy and giver her the Diary of the Jade, Decrypted for an update (you will get it back).
• NOTE: Even though she mentions 'Pickle Juice' -- the phrase is not used or needed for later steps.

4) TOGIRAN MINES: You are here to:

• Kill eight (8) 'Broken Skull' Pirates (any type).
• The next step is sort of a red herring... it is just a location update (/waypoint -270, -210).
• Find a Broken Skull informant (on Find) (/waypoint 1510, -475).
• Hail a Broken Skull informant and give the Diary of the Jade, Decrypted (you get it back) to a Broken Skull informant for an update.
• Back track a bit to find a crafty halfling (/waypoint 1320, -390).
• Hail and give the Diary of the Jade, Decrypted to a crafty halfling and he will run off with it.
• Head through the secret west wall to find Mihrr (/waypoint 1275, -205).
• Hail Mihrr for an update.

5) MISTY THICKET: Head back to Dreezil Stickens.

Hail Dreezil Stickens to finish up.

• Hail and follow along with a gallery coordinator for an update (/waypoint -1770, 2225).

3) SHAR VAHL: You are here to:

• Buy an Owlbear Bitter Brew from Barkeep Rawlf, inside a building in the area of /waypoint -445, -230.
• Go out and around the corner to find Vernan Finken (/waypoint -405, -460). Hail Vernan Finken and give him the Owlbear Bitter Brew and then follow along for an update.

4) SHADOW HAVEN: You are here to:

• Find Daxan, who is standing by a building in the northeast (on Find) (/waypoint 300, -355).
• Hail and follow along with Daxan for an update.
• Mulder and Mack spawn and attack you. Kill them.
• Hail and follow along with Daxan to get a Flask Keepsake.

ON THE JADE THIEF'S TRAIL (Solo)

1) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET: You are looking for Firiona Vie, who is at a building in the southwest (/waypoint -1700, 2140).

2) KITHICOR FOREST: You are here to:

• Head to the southeast to find a cabin on the north side of the the lake.
• Scout the cabin from the north side for a location update (/waypoint 400, 195).
• Scout the cabin from the south side for a location update (/waypoint 30, 60).
• Go up to the cabin and click the door.
• Kill a security golem that attacks you, to acquire a Fractured Security Core.

3) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET: Head back to Firiona Vie.

Give the Fractured Security Core (you get it back) to Firiona Vie and then follow along for an update.

4) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: You are here to:

• Locate Nulna, who is in a building on the north side of the inner ring (/waypoint 390, 970).
• Give the Fractured Security Core to Nulna and then follow along for an update.
• Head up into the Library. On top of a book shelf near Channeler Alyrianne, pick up the Pepper and the Tip-tap Bunny (/waypoint -70, 960, -25).

5) PLANE OF INNOVATION: You are here to:

• Head to Nitram Anizok's shop (building), to the northeast.
• On the west wall (outside the building), behind a large plate, there is a hidden chest (/waypoint 1525, 1055).
• Open a hidden chest to get an Old Worn Schematic.
• Kill the two (2) a clockwork retrieval unit that spawn and attack you.

6) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: Head back to Nulna.

Give the Pepper and the Tip-tap Bunny and the Old Worn Schematic to Nulna., then follow along for some updates.

SOMETHING UNEXPECTED (Solo)

1) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET: You are looking for Faeta Glor, who is near who is near Firiona Vie at the same building in the southwest (/waypoint -1740, 2133).

Hail Faeta Glor and follow along, or just try saying, "Pieces," to get this task.

2) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET: Go inside the building to target and then /inspect six (6) a jade statue, on the first and second floors, for an update.

Take note that when you inspect them, the resulting pop up window has as many as four (4) of the letters in green font.

Decipher those letters and go back to Faeta Glor, hail him and then tell him what the secret word was, for an update.

SPOILER: Highlight for the answer >>: The letters spell out JADE.

3) MINES OF NURGA: You are here to:

• Head to the southeast intersection area where the mine cart tracks are, for a location update (/waypoint -1915, -970).
• Look around and you should see a mineral deposit nearby... /inspect a mineral deposit for an update.
• Kill the three (3) a greedy goblin and / or a haughty goblin that spawn and attack you.
• Head west, then north and up the ramp you come to on the right side, then continue west for a location update (/waypoint -1535, -630).
• Look around and you should see a mineral deposit nearby... /inspect a mineral deposit for an update.
• Kill the three (3) a greedy goblin and / or a haughty goblin that spawn and attack you.
• Head to the area of /waypoint -1245, -905 for a location update.
• Look around and you should see a mineral deposit nearby... /inspect a mineral deposit for an update.

THE DOKE TRIO (Solo)

Achievement 26th Anniversary Tasks

1) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET: You are looking for Alaston Dianthus, who is near who is near Firiona Vie at the same building in the southwest (/waypoint -1750, 2130).

Hail Alaston Dianthus and follow along, or just try saying, "Help," to get this task.

2) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET: Next you need to:

• Head to the north east corner of the zone, to find an encampment of an unknowing civilian. (waypoint 1830, -2795). Kill ten (10) an unknowing civilian.
• Head back to Alaston Dianthus and hail him for an update.
• Go in the building and to the second floor to find, and hail, Neetor Ikadiff for an update (/waypoint -1740, 2205).
• Head north along the west wall until you come across an encampment of a duressed civilian (/waypoint 255, 2110).
• Kill ten (10) a duressed civilian and loot five (5) Money Sack.
• Head back to Neetor Ikadiff and hand in the five (5) Money Sack.
• Turn to Vileor Wilkern, who is standing right there (/waypoint -1745, 2195).
• Hail Vileor Wilkern for an update.
• Follow the road north (from near Shar Vahl) to find some broken crates at the edge of the roadway, for a location update (/waypoint 805, -2295).
• Look around for a ground spawn Bloodied Note and pick it up (/waypoint -2230, -190).
• Head back to Vileor Wilkern and give him the Bloodied Note for an update.

3) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET: Head over to Faeta Glor, who is near who is near Alaston Dianthus at the same building in the southwest (/waypoint -1740, 2133).

Hail Faeta Glor to finish up.

This should also finish up Achievement: 26th Anniversary Tasks, if you have finished all six (6) listed tasks.

DIARY OF THE JADE - THE TESTS (Group Mission)

1) MISTY THICKET:  You are looking for Dreezil Stickens, who is hiding by a stump to the southwest (area of /waypoint -450, 700).

NOTE: In order to request this mission yourself, it appears you must first complete the solo tasks.

Hail Dreezil Stickens and follow along, or just try saying, "Up to," to get this task. Then say 'Ready' to zone in.

2) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): After you zone in, in the immediate are, you will see Chex, Asarrus, Mihrr, Firiona Vie and Dreezil Stickens.

Hail and follow along with Dreezil Stickens for an update.

Saying 'first trial,' 'second trial,' 'third trial' and 'guardian' to Dreezil Stickens will reveal some clues about the events you will face.

NOTE: It appears that some MoB's can respawn and is fully populated (at least, in the the southeast area). Invisibility does work.

3) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): Head into the first room to the lever that opens the pathway down (area of /waypoint -90, -565).

Kill Spiritcharmer Hargortaz (who is right there) for an update.

4) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): Click the lever and head down below to the area of /waypoint -560, -500 ('Altar' room) for a location update.

Clear the area if you like, to help avoid possible aggro... or try using invis. Either way, go up to the flaming bowl and sit. Stay seated until a series of emotes happen ('As you sit before the holy flame, you take in the warn glow.' three times & ending with 'Time. Time is on your side, as despite the pressures placed against you and your allies, you remained strong. The Trial of Patience was a success.') and you get a task update.

!!! BONUS ALERT !!!: To get the bonus item from this mission, you need to kill and loot an Edible Ritual Offering The Edible Ritual Offering can potentially drop from a Broken Skull Prophet, who standing up on the altar (nearby). You can also potentially get this item Elder Shaman Elgruk (/waypoint -1370, -195). Give the Edible Ritual Offering to Chex to get the Jade Nimbus (you do not need to finish the mission to do this).

5) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): Head to the area of /waypoint -1185, -595 (southeast 'Sanctuary' room) for a location update.

Step though the fake wall (center of the south wall) for another update.

6) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): Head to the area of /waypoint 95, 540 (northwest across the bridge) for a location update, at the Jade Guardian.

.

7) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): Head back across the bridge to the area of /waypoint -590, -135 ('Vase' room).

Here you will see four (4) large vases with a ground spawn by each one (they look like a collect). Find and pick up the Rune of Air (its the green one, /waypoint -620, -125).

The others, which are not needed, are Rune of Earth, Rune of Fire & Rune of Water.

8) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): Head back to the Jade Guardian.

Hail Jade Guardian and you will get a clue, as to which rune he wants, and then give the Rune of Air to Jade Guardian for an update.

9) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): Head back across the bridge to the area of /waypoint -1005, -145 ('Nautilus' room), for an update.

Kill the three (3) MoB's around the nautilus statue and then /plead for an update.

.

10) CRYPT OF NADOX (Instance): Head back to Jade Guardian, hail Jade Guardian and it will attack you. Kill the Jade Guardian.

Lastly open the chest (nearby) to finish up and get some loot (which can include a nice weapon / gear augs (many with procs) and a decent group gear item (belt, shoulder...).

REWARD INCLUDES: Ten (10) Commemorative Coin.

THE GREAT JADE IDOL CAPER (Group Mission)

1) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET:  You are looking for Firiona Vie, who is at a building in the southwest (/waypoint -1700, 2140).

Hail Firiona Vie and follow along, or just try saying, 'Key,' to get this task. Say 'Ready' to zone in.

2) BOLDVEN'S HIDEOUT: This zone has multiple name references... you see 'Boldven's Hideout' when you zone in; you see 'Grand Guild Hall' in the Guild Tool; the map file is called 'guildhallsng;' and you see it referred to as the 'Thief's Hideout' in NPC narrative.

Once you zone in, you will see Firiona Vie nearby. Hail Firiona Vie and follow along for an update.

3) BOLDVEN'S HIDEOUT: Head to the left in the last room on the left (/waypoint 155, 65) to find Security Terminal Zero.

Destroy (attack) Security Terminal Zero and Mongrop XV Alpha will spawn and attack. Kill Mongrop XV Alpha.

4) BOLDVEN'S HIDEOUT: Head around to the other side the center to the last room on the right (/waypoint -145, 65) to find Security Terminal One.

Destroy (attack) Security Terminal One and Mongrop XV Beta will spawn and attack. Kill Mongrop XV Beta.

5) BOLDVEN'S HIDEOUT: Head into the center room (which should be open now) to find Vault Security Terminal.

Next:

• Kill the two (2) a security golem in the room, to get them out of the way;
• Destroy (attack) Vault Security Terminal. Three (3);
• Kill the three (3) a security drone that spawned along the east wall of the room (they can be single pulled with a little finesse);
• Kill the two (2) a security golem and the two (2) a a security drone that spawned along  the east wall of the room (they can be single pulled with a little finesse);
• Kill Grung XV Max that spawns and attacks.

6) BOLDVEN'S HIDEOUT: Another doorway is now open.

!!! BONUS ALERT !!!: To get the bonus item from this mission, you need to pick up a Blue Crystal Shard and a Yellow Crystal Shard. There is also a Purple Crystal Shard and a Red Crystal Shard, but they are not needed (Hint: Blue & Yellow = Green aka Jade). They are random ground spawns about the zone (corners of rooms, primarily... sometimes middle of a room). The Blue Crystal Shard and Yellow Crystal Shard can be combined in the Jewelry Table (a Jeweler's Kit not work) found at /waypoint 140, -40), to make a Jade Crystal Sconce (placeable bonus item). If you combine the wrong two (2) items, you will get Crystal Junk and have to try again next time.

Clear the way in to avoid unnecessary adds. Be ready for battle and head straight in and to the right to find the Jade idol (/way point -95, -185).

Boldven will spawn and attack. Kill Boldven. At about 50% three (3) a mini max bot (low HP) will also spawn and attack.

7) BOLDVEN'S HIDEOUT: Upon defeating Boldven, Firiona Vie will appear nearby.

Hail Firiona Vie follow along for an update... then open a jade chest to finish up and get some loot (which can include a nice weapon / gear augs (many with procs) and a decent group gear item (belt, shoulder...).

THE SECRET SPONSOR (Group Mission)

Achievement: 26th Anniversary Special Items

1) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET:  You are looking for Faeta Glor, who is at a building in the southwest (/waypoint -1740, 2133).

Hail Faeta Glor and follow along, or just try saying, "Find," to get this task.

2) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET (Instance): You are here to:

• NOTE: Waypoints paths are whacky here, so rely on the 'X' on the map, rather than the path.
• Get a location update (enter the lair... the nearest cave entrance) (area of/waypoint -645, 1015);
• Get a location update (explore the cavern... down and to the right / south) (area of /waypoint -1345, 690);
• Kill ten (10) of the 'Jade Statues' (a jade criminal, a jade civilian, a jade seer, a jade soldier, a jade spiritist, etc. -- that you can see nearby... single pull if you can);
• Head south into the next cave and kill ten (10 more 'Doke Collective' MoB's... which are the same 'jade' MoB's... ... single pull if you can);
• As you go into the cave, you should see a series of holes (big rock plugging a tunnel) (area of /waypoint -1770, 830) (location update);
• Take the first right cave branch, you should get another update (area of /waypoint -2220, 1320);
• Kill Alaston Dianthus, who is nearby (area of /waypoint -2225, 1355) and loot a Jade Heart;
• Head back out the cave to the right / south to find and kill Vileor Wilkern (area of /waypoint -2625, 945) and loot a Jade Heart;
• In that same area find and kill Neetor Ikadiff (area of /waypoint -2405, 800) and loot a Jade Heart.

3) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET (Instance): Head back to a series of holes (big rock plugging a tunnel) (area of /waypoint -1770, 830), for a location update.

Give the three (3) Jade Heart to a series of holes for another updates and a series of holes will disappear.

Once done, head into the cave (west) for a location update (/waypoint -1665, 1055).

4) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET (Instance): In the next area you should see Ilia Forgor (area of /waypoint -1555, 1175).

Approach Ilia Forgor and the battle is on. Ilia Forgor has an AoE 'Silencing Screech' (25 AoE Range); a single target 'Slashing Strike' push back; and a nasty toss back 30-Second 'Toxin Explosion' DoT (350 AoE Range). Levitation is beneficial here. Kill Ilia Forgor.

5) SHADWEAVER'S THICKET (Instance):  Open a jade chest (nearby) to finish up and get some loot (which can include a nice weapon / gear augs (many with procs) and a decent group gear item (belt, shoulder...).

!!! BONUS ALERT !!!: To get the bonus item from this mission, find and pick up a ground spawn Jade Note in this same area (/waypoint -1575, 1270) (it appears this item will respawn after a short time). After you zone out, give the Jade Note to Faeta Glor for a Metamorph: Jade Sessiloid (a familiar).

REWARD INCLUDES: Ten (10) Commemorative Coin.

This should also finish up Achievement: 26th Anniversary Missions, if you have defeated all three (3) listed missions.

26TH ANNIVERSARY MYSTERY (Solo)

1) SHADEWEAVER'S THICKET:  You are looking for a series of green statues, all within this zone.

Don't fret... they are all essentially in the same place... on the first and second floor of the building beside Firiona Vie (/waypoint -1800, 2210; /waypoint -1775, 2185; /waypoint -1785, 2230; /waypoint -1795, 2240; /waypoint -1810, 2210; & /waypoint -1800, 2190).

Only six (6) of them are up at any given time. It appears three (3) of them rotate out periodically (the other three just change places). The change is announced via an emote each time it happens ('Please allow us a moment to rotate our showings. Thank you for your patronage.'). I stood by once and the change was Five-Hours & 39-Minutes (11:14 AM to 16:53 PM based on in-game timestamps), or basically four (4) times a day. More simply, come back every 6 hours to check for the ones you still need.

Simply go up to each one, target it, /inspect it and a pop-up window will appear with details about the statue (which will update the Achievement).

While the Achievement does not name each jade statue (you will need to keep track), the order that they will be credited in the Achievement:

• a jade statue (Wilton 'Cold Hearted' Draven) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The pirate Wilton 'Cold Hearted' Draven. The gent is said to have earned his nickname by abandoning tardy crew at ports of call to avoid paying them.");
• a jade statue (Veynar Aeridia) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The vampire Veynar Aeridia. This vampire of Luclin origin has made quite a name for himself in the Tenebrous mountains.");
• a jade statue (Guard Jerith) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The Qeynos guard Guard Jerith. He is a shining example of the quality we all know and love from the Qeynos Guard.");
• a jade statue (Ciradyl Leafwhisper) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The Elddar elf Ciradyl Leafwhisper. The woman was known for a large number of controversial bard tunes that made their way through the taverns of Norrath.");
• a jade statue (Fippy Darkpaw) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The famous gnoll Fippy Darkpaw. May he forever be the guiding light, reminding us to never give up.");
• a jade statue (Varog) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The ogre Varog. The Oggok native is known for her shaman skills, but it wasn't herself she was known to be cannibalizing");
• a jade statue (Bracken Underbrush) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The brownie Bracken Underbrush. A friend of many woodland folks throughout Faydwer, he was also known to be a bit of a pain in the ankle.");
• a jade statue (Wyle Bimlin) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The merchant Wyle Bimlin. She's best known for her Zap Doodle Tonics. The true offense was her not allowing more than one of them at a time.");
• a jade statue (Roirk) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The goblin Roirk. He was known far and wide across Antonica for his rigged gambling games. Every roll of the dice is another coin in his purse");
• a jade statue (Glasson) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The satyr Glasson. Working for the Tuffien, it is believed he was to do severe damage to the Windwillow. His image now stands here as a reminder.");
• a jade statue (Sorceress Gnildaria) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The grimling Sorceress Gnildaria. Skilled withe the elements upon Luclin, she was quite the challenge, even for the General.");
• a jade statue (Captain Stonefist) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The coldain dwarf Captain Stonefist. He might have won more decisively against the Kromrif had he a longer beard.");
• a jade statue (Clockwork XXIXE) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The Clockwork XXIXE. Meldrath the Malignant's forces were strong, with any clockworks siding with the dangerous gnome's schemes..");
• a jade statue (Dominator Yisaki) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The ratman Dominator Yisaki. Siding with the Chetari of the Dragon Necropolis, this wielder of shadow was a dangerous adversary.");
• a jade statue (Marda) ("The plaque at the base of the statue reads: The ogre Marda. Intelligent, even amongst those born long after her people were cursed, it doesn't protect her from being on the bad side of a few Norrathians").

Once done, you will complete Achievement: 26th Anniversary Hidden Items.

REWARD: Jade Tinted Spectacles Ornamentation.
