1) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: Zone in from Ruined Relic and you will find Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn not far from the zone in, up the path (/waypoint -150, 2125, 1585).

Hail Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn and follow along to get this task.

You will get a Mysterious Magical Clump.

NOTE: In order to get to this zone, other than via a teleport (i.e. Fellowship Campfire), you need to have completed the Mercenary & Partisan Achievements in Candlemaker's Workshop in order to zone in to Arcstone, Shattered Isles from Candlemaker's Workshop.

NOTE: You may note that Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn talks about 'scrykin orbs.' This is a nostalgic reference to the Black Orb of the Scrykin quest series back in the Prophecy of Ro expansion, from then Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn gave. In case you are wondering, it does not appear that having done that quest series is a requirement to get this one.

2) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: You are here to:

• Kill thirteen (13) 'depraved scrykin' (a vile scrykin and / or a corrupted scrykin work). They are found down below on this same island.
• Collect four (4) Vial of Glowing Scrykin Blood (a not-so-common drop from a vile scrykin and / or a corrupted scrykin). If all ready have them, this step should auto update.

3) CANDLEMAKER'S WORKSHOP: You need four (4) Riven Arcana Crystal (random drop).

If you all ready have them, this step should auto-update. Or if you can acquire them from other Players, it will also update. If so, there is no need to farm them up or come to this zone.

You will need three (3) of these for a combine and one (1) more for another combine.

They drop in most any zone, but I suggest here in Candlemaker's Workshop... mostly from candlefolk, snail & slug MoB's.

4) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: Find a Brew Barrel (/waypoint -315, 965, -90) so you need to make a Coagulated Arcane Slurry (Brewing 308).

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (it should be in your Brew Barrel Recipe List).

Fair warning, failed combines can result in needing to acquire more of some of needed ingredients (quested items you 'should' always get back).

In the Brew Barrel, combine the four (4) Vial of Glowing Scrykin Blood; three (3) Riven Arcana Crystal and the Mysterious Magical Clump to make the Coagulated Arcane Slurry.

5) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: Head back to Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn and give him the Coagulated Arcane Slurry.

You will get back the Coagulated Arcane Slurry as well as three (3) Inert Tenuous Storm Essence.

6) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: Now find a safe 'storm' (any will do) to stand in -- or clear into one, if you have to.

Stand inside the 'storm' until your Inert Tenuous Storm Essence changes into a Charged Tenuous Storm Essence.

Do this until all three (3) Inert Tenuous Storm Essence have changed to Charged Tenuous Storm Essence.

7) PLANE OF KLNOWLEDGE: Head to a Kiln (waypoint -340, 795, -90), to make a Ravenous Destroyed Mask of the Vortex (Pottery 468).

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (it should be in your Kiln Recipe List).

Combine the three (3) Charged Tenuous Storm Essence; the Coagulated Arcane Slurry; and a Riven Arcana Crystal to make a Ravenous Destroyed Mask of the Vortex.

2) PRE-REQUISITE ACHIEVEMENT(S): You need to complete any one (1) of the following Achievements:

• Champion of Shattering of Ro (complete all the quests);
• Stormslayer (kill all the named targets);
• Paragon of Shattering of Ro (defeat all four (4) missions);
• Challenger of Shattering of Ro (complete all the mission challenges);
• Conqueror of Shattering of Ro (defeat all the raid events);
• Vanquisher  of Shattering of Ro (complete all the raid challenges).

3) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: Head back to Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn.

Hail Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn and follow along, or just try saying, 'Link' to get this task.

4) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: You need to kill seventeen (17) a fiery emberfang.

They are on the lower island. Zone in from Candlemaker's Workshop to get directly to that island.

Be sure to loot Riven Arcana Imbued Silk if they drop. You need eight (8) of them. If you all ready have them, this step should auto-update.

If you don't get eight (8) Riven Arcana Imbued Silk, you can acquire them from other Players or farm them up in any Shattering of Ro zone (try spiders and drachnids in Labyrinth of Spite). You may need a lot more than eight (8), in case of fails.

5) TIME TO GO FISHING!: Grab your pole and bait!

Fish (in any Shattering of Ro zone) until you catch ten (10) Uncanny Cloudline Tilapia and / or Uncanny Tempest Salmon (or a combination of both).

I used the waterfall pond in the far north part of Scarred Grove.

NOTE: While the Quest only calls for ten (10) Uncanny Cloudline Tilapia and / or Uncanny Tempest Salmon, you will very likely need more in case of failed combines. So fish up extras!

6) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: Now you need to find a Loom (/waypoint -340, 795, -90).

You need to make a Delicate Inscribed Lattice (Tailoring 362).

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (but not the sub-combines... it should be in your Loom recipe List).

Fair warning, failed combines can result in needing to acquire more of some of needed ingredients (quested items you 'should' always get back).

You will need:

• Spool of Simple Thread (sold by most Tailoring Vendors in the zone, on 'Find').
  • You will need at least two (2) of these.
• Sewing Needle.
  • If you don't all ready have a Sewing Needle, it can be crafted or vendor purchased.
    • Crafted (Smithing 31): Jar of Acid, Needle Mold, Smithy Hammer, (2) Steel Bits (crafted, Smithing 24) & Water Flask in a Forge.
  • The easiest Vendors to get to for buying a Sewing Needle might be...
    • a Crystalwing merchant (Hodstock Hills) (on 'Find');
    • a confused patron (Laurion Inn) (on 'Find');
    • Sagacious Great Jade (Stratos: Zephyr's Flight) (on 'Find').
• Riven Arcana Heavy Fabric (Tailoring 423).
  • Tailored in a Loom using the eight (8) Riven Arcana Imbued Silk, a Spool of Simple Thread and a Sewing Needle.
  • You will need at least one (1) of these.
• Riven Arcana Fish Scale Sheet.
  • It is crafted as follows:
    • In a Fishing Table (/waypoint -320, 850, -90), combine one (1) of the Uncanny Cloudline Tilapia or the Uncanny Tempest Salmon and a Scaler to make an Uncanny Curt of Fish and 50 (fifty) (upon fail) to one-hundred (100) (upon success) Riven Arcana Fish Scales (Fishing 348).
    • You will need at least one-thousand of these (1,000).
      • If you don't all ready have a Scaler, it can be crafted or purchased from a vendor. 
        • Crafted (Smithing 41): Metal Bits (crafted, Smithing 18), Scaler Mold & Water Flask in a Forge.
      • The easiest Vendors to get to for buying a Scaler might be...
        • a Crystalwing merchant (Hodstock Hills) (on 'Find');
        • a confused patron (Laurion Inn) (on 'Find');
        • Sagacious Great Jade (Stratos: Zephyr's Flight) (on 'Find').
    • Now combine ten (10) Riven Arcana Fish Scales in the Fishing Table to make a Riven Arcana Fish Scale Patch (Fishing 318).
      • You will need at least one hundred (100) of these.
    • Next, combine ten (10) Riven Arcana Fish Patch in the Fishing Table to make a Riven Arcana Fish Scale Swatch (Fishing 288).
      • You will need at least ten (10) of these.
    • Next, combine ten (10) Riven Arcana Fish Scale Swatch in the Fishing Table to make a Riven Arcana Fish Scale Sheet (Fishing 138)​​​​.
      • You will need at least one (1) of these.

7) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: Head back to Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn and give him the Delicate Inscribed Lattice and follow along, if needed.

You will get back the Delicate Inscribed Lattice as well an Inert Runic Storm Essence and an Inert Stony Storm Essence (both are click items).

8) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: You are looking for Black Jay, who is on the next (second) island from the Candlemaker's Workshop zone in (/waypoint 1410, 545, -280).

Hail him and follow along, or just try saying 'Smaller,' to get the group mission, 'Colossus.' 

This is a group mission. While you can get it solo, you will definitely need help.

Say 'Ready' to Black Jay to zone in.

9) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: COLOSSUS (Instance): Once inside, do not start the mission, as nothing is aggro yet.

Instead, run into the 'Stony' storm and click the Inert Stony Storm Essence to get a Charged Stony Storm Essence.

Then run into the 'Runic' storm and click the Inert Runic Storm Essence to get a Charged Runic Storm Essence.

NOTE: a runic worker (/waypoint -575, 1870, 1780) and a stony worker (/waypoint -575, 1610, 1780) stand near their related storm types, if that helps.

10) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES (Instance): Now you need to beat the mission.

Here is what to expect...

• Talk to Torm the Golden to start the event ("Now") (/waypoint 410, 1865, 1775).
• a runic worker and a stony worker will come running to attack you. Kill them both.
• The Colossus of Skylance (/waypoint -815, 1830, 1780) will now aggro.
  • He can cause you to Feign Death, so stand back up ASAP!
  • Adds will spawn along the way (a bedeviled scrykin, a crazed scrykin, an absent scrykin...), so be ready for them and kill them ASAP.
• Finish The Colossus of Skylance to defeat the mission.
  • Any adds will disappear if they are still up when he dies.
• Open a glowing chest (nearby) for loot!
• You should get a Charged Heart of the Colossus on your cursor. If not, check your bags.

11) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: Head to a Kiln (waypoint -340, 795, -90), to make a Ravenous Ruined Mask of the Vortex (Pottery 471).

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (it should be in your Kiln Recipe List).

You will need at least two (2) Riven Arcana Crystal. If you didn't acquire any along the way, you can go farm some up or acquire them from other Players.

Remove any augs from your Yearning Destroyed Mask of the Vortex and then take it off (put it in your bags).

Combine the Delicate Inscribed Lattice, Charged Stony Storm Essence, Charged Runic Storm Essence, Charged Heart of the Colossus, your Yearning Destroyed Mask of the Vortex & two (2) Riven Arcana Crystal... to make a Ravenous Ruined Mask of the Vortex.

Be sure to equip your new Ravenous Ruined Mask of the Vortex on and put augs in it!

2) PRE-REQUISITE ACHIEVEMENT(S): To proceed, at least two (2) of the below Achievements need to have been completed.

• Champion of Shattering of Ro (complete all the quests);
• Stormslayer (kill all the named targets);
• Paragon of Shattering of Ro (defeat all four (4) missions);
• Challenger of Shattering of Ro (complete all the mission challenges);
• Conqueror of Shattering of Ro (defeat all the raid events);
• Vanquisher  of Shattering of Ro (complete all the raid challenges).

4) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: You are here to:

• Kill eleven (11) a greater tanglefoot. 
  • They are on this same island (below), the island above and the next island down.
  • I found it easiest to kill them up and down the ramp leading to the island below.
• You also need to loot at least two (2) Riven Arcana Imbued Timber.
  • You may want to loot more than two (2) in case of later combine fails.
  • If you all ready have some of these, this step should auto update.
  • You can also acquire them from other Players.

5) RUINED RELIC: You are here to acquire four (4) drops.

• If all ready have any of these items, the step(s) should auto update. If not, try the old trade-cancel trick, while in this zone.
  • The ground spawns look like a rolled up scroll... all most flag-like in shape.
• Hymn of Stability: Intro: This is a ground spawn in Northwest, in what was originally the Market / Vendor area.
  • On a table (/waypoint 1380, 570, -270).
  • On a bookshelf (/waypoint 1335, 855, -275) (one one of two different shelves).
  • If you don't find one at those locations, keep looking around in that same area.
  • UPDATE: Additional locations have been provided to me as /waypoint 1385, 830, -265; /waypoint 1425, 520, -270; & /waypoint 1380, 570, -270.
• Hymn of Stability: Verse: This is known to randomly drop from any named (rare) MoB in the zone (it's a rare drop, unfortunately).
• Hymn of Stability: Chorus: This is a ground spawn way up top on one of the Ice or Wind Platforms way up top (/waypoint 1148, -400, 200).
  • If you don't find one at this location, keep looking around in that same area and / or on other Ice Platforms.
  • UPDATE: Additional locations have been provided to me as /waypoint 725, 385, 195; /waypoint 1075, 830, 200; /waypoint 1155, 410, 195 & /waypoint 910, 280, 195.
• Hymn of Stability: Coda: This is a ground spawn way up top on one of the Lava Platforms way up top (/waypoint 715, -330, 315).
  • If you don't find one at this location, keep looking around in that same area and / or on other Lava Platforms.
  • UPDATE: Additional locations have been provided to me as /waypoint 830, -360, 330; /waypoint 600, -365, 330; /waypoint 630, -180, 330 & /waypoint 755, -185, 325.

6) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: Head to a Fletching Table (/waypoint -320, 860, -90) to make a Hymn-Seared Stabilizer (Fletching 415).

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (except any sub-combines... it should be in your Fletching Table Recipe List).

• First, you need two make at least two (2) Riven Arcana Lumber (n a Fletching Table... Fletching 423), using...
  • Basic Sandpaper (the easiest Vendor to get to for buying a Basic Sandpaper might be...
    • Sagacious Great Jade (Stratos: Zephyr's Flight) (on 'Find').
  • A Planing Tool (sold by Fletching Vendors in the zone, they are on 'Find').
  • Two (2) High Tensile Lacquer (sold by Fletching Vendors in the zone, they are on 'Find').
• In a Fletching Table, craft the Hymn-Seared Stabilizer by combining:
  • Two (2) High Tensile Lacquer;
  • Two (2) Riven Arcana Lumber;
    • Made in a  Fletching Table (Fletching 423)
      • (1) Riven Arcana Imbued Timber.
      • (1) Planing Tool.
      • (1) Basic Sandpaper.
  • Hymn of Stability: Intro;
  • Hymn of Stability: Verse;
  • Hymn of Stability: Chorus;
  • Hymn of Stability: Coda.

Upon a successful combine you will also get a Message in a Bottle.

Click the Message in a Bottle and you will get Mysterious Message (you can read it) and a Bottle of Dehydrated Storms (clicky).

7) RUINED RELIC: You are here to get three (3) updates.

You may have to clear the area for at least one (1) of these updates.

• Head to the 'fountain' on the lower base level (area of /waypoint 876, -1020, -275).
  • Click the Bottle of Dehydrated Storms to get a Charged Tempestuous Storm Essence.
• Head all the way up top, so you can float down to the next locations (the waterfall platforms).
  • Be sure to 'land' on the outer edges, instead of the watery area, to better insure that you don't miss or sink through the platforms.
• Float down to the second waterfall platform down (/waypoint 1120, 150, 65).
  • Click the Bottle of Dehydrated Storms to get another Charged Tempestuous Storm Essence.
• Continue to float down to the bottom of the waterfall (/waypoint 1100, 195, -270).
  • Click the Bottle of Dehydrated Storms to get another Charged Tempestuous Storm Essence.

Lower Fountain Area - Waterfall Platform area - Waterfall Bottom Area

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (except any sub-combines... it should be in your Kiln Recipe List).

You will need at least three (3) Riven Arcana Crystal. If you didn't acquire any along the way, you can go farm some up or acquire them from other Players.

Take off your Yearning Ruined Mask of the Vortex (put it in your bags) and remove the augs.

Combine the three (3) Charged Tempestuous Storm Essence, the Hymn-Seared Stabilizer and three (3) Riven Arcana Crystal, along with the Yearning Ruined Mask of the Vortex to make the Ravenous Shattered Mask of the Vortex.

Be sure to equip your new Ravenous Shattered Mask of the Vortex on and put augs in it!

2) PRE-REQUISITE ACHIEVEMENT(S): To proceed, at least three (3) of the below Achievements need to have been completed.

• Champion of Shattering of Ro (complete all the quests);
• Stormslayer (kill all the named targets);
• Paragon of Shattering of Ro (defeat all four (4) missions);
• Challenger of Shattering of Ro (complete all the mission challenges);
• Conqueror of Shattering of Ro (defeat all the raid events);

3) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES:  Head back to Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn.

4) RUINED RELIC: You are here to acquire four (4) drops and kill elementals.

• If you all ready have any of them, the step(s) 'should' auto-update.
• You need a Trace of Soaring Sentience (drops from Air Elemental MoB types, such as an enthralling gale).
• You need a Trace of Stony Sentience (drops from Earth Elemental MoB types, such as an earthen construct).
• You need a Trace of Scalding Sentience (drops from Fire Elemental MoB types, such as a fiery sorcerer).
• You need a Trace of Sodden Sentience (drops from Water Elemental MoB types, such as a cresting wave).
• Kill twenty-one (21) of elementals (any type).

5) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: Head to a Forge (/waypoint -340, 760, -90) to make an Ornate Tensile Clasp (Smithing 428).

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (except any sub-combines... it should be in your Forge Recipe List).

You will need at least three (3) Riven Arcana Ore. If you didn't acquire any along the way, you can go farm some up or acquire them from other Players.

In the Forge, combine the Trace of Soaring Sentience, Trace of Stony Sentience, Trace of Scalding Sentience, Trace of Sodden Sentience and three (3) Riven Arcana Ore to make the Ornate Tensile Clasp.

You will also get a Mysterious Sealed Letter.

Click the Mysterious Sealed Letter to get a Creased Parchment Sheet (you can read it).

6) RUINED RELIC: You are looking fir Gwok, who is on the lower level standing by a wall (/waypoint 1510, -605, -265).

Hail Gwok and follow along, or juts try saying, 'Smaller' to get the group mission 'Shar'Drahn.'

You can get this mission solo, but you will definitely need help.

Say 'Ready' to Gwok to zone in to the instance.

7) RUINED RELIC (instance): You are here to kill Shar'Drahn.

Here is what to expect....

• Talk to Gwark ('Insist') to start the event. Gwark is standing right there where you zone in.
• WARNING: Levitation does NOT work here. You CAN fall off the platform! There ARE trash adds about the zone and you can fall into them... or zone to East Freeport.
• Shar'Drahn (standing in the middle of the platform ahead... /waypoint 905, 575, 190) will aggro right away.
• If you are not going for Achievements, go maximum DPS and burn Shar'Drahn. Any adds will despawn when Shar'Drahn dies.
• Try to keep Shar'Drahn out of the magical storms.
• There will be magical storms roving around.
• There will be variant adds that start after about 75%, that continue to spawn in the form of:
  • (1) Elder Monolith (can off tank or kill, but he is toughest of the adds). He spawns if no one is inside one of the aura / decals.
  • (2) a constituent (they have a good amount of Hit Points). These spawn if only one (1) Player is in an aura / decal.
  • (2) a lost constituent (easiest adds to kill). These spawn if two (2) Players are in an aura / decal.
• Open the nearby chest for loot!

Upon the win, you should have received a Charged Blustering Storm Essence on your cursor. If not, check your bags.

You will need at least four (4) Riven Arcana Crystal. If you didn't acquire any along the way, you can go farm some up or acquire them from other Players.

Take off your Yearning Shattered Mask of the Vortex (put it in your bags) and remove the augs.

Combine the Charged Blustering Storm Essence, the Ornate Tensile Clasp and four (4) Riven Arcana Crystal along with the Yearning Shattered Mask of the Vortex to make the Ravenous Cracked Mask of the Vortex.

Be sure to equip your new Ravenous Cracked Mask of the Vortex on and put augs in it!

2) PRE-REQUISITE ACHIEVEMENT(S): To proceed, at least four (4) of the below Achievements need to have been completed.

• Champion of Shattering of Ro (complete all the quests);
• Stormslayer (kill all the named targets);
• Paragon of Shattering of Ro (defeat all four (4) missions);
• Challenger of Shattering of Ro (complete all the mission challenges);
• Conqueror of Shattering of Ro (defeat all the raid events);
• Vanquisher  of Shattering of Ro (complete all the raid challenges).

3) PRE-REQUISITE ALTERNATE ADVANCEMENT (AA): WILD MAGIC: DESTROY: This is a new AA related to Magical Storm.

If you don't all ready have the Wild Magic: Destroy AA, you will need to get it, or else you will not be able to complete this task.

This AA, and two others, are sort of a 'hidden AA' as they are not listed as an award for any quest or achievement (they show up in the 'Special' AA Tab once you get them) .

The Wild Magic: Destroy AA is related to 'Shattered Tears: The Third Fragment' from Tsikut in Ruined Relic. In that the Partisan tasks have to be done in order, you essentially have to complete the Achievement: Partisan of Ruined Relic.

5) THE VORTEX: You are here for several things.

• Kill seventeen (17) 'crazed scrykin' (any scrykin will do).
  • From the zone in from Ruined Relic, I found them up the northern pathway (/waypoint 445, -15, 0).
• Loot six (6) Blasted Scrykin Orb Fragment.
  • If you all ready have any of these, this step should auto-update. They can drop from scrykin MoB's.
  • NOTE: You may want to farm at least one (1) extra set of these, due possible loss of items in failed combines.
• Kill eight (8) 'mechanical octopus creature' (any will do).
  • They aren't mechanical in appearance. In fact, they look like a cross between a cuttlefish, octopus and a turtle.
  • From the zone in from Ruined Relic, I found them down the southwest-ish pathway (/waypoint -220, 600, 0).
• Loot a Pristine Mechanical Octopus Oil.

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (except any sub-combines... it should be in your Mixing Bowl Recipe List).

In the Mixing Bowl, combine the six (6) Blasted Scrykin Orb Fragment and the Pristine Mechanical Octopus Oil to make the Reconstituted Mercurial Filter.

You may want to make more than one (1) Reconstituted Mercurial Filter, if you have the ingredients, in case of failed combines (you can lose this item).

You will also get a Blank Sheet of Parchment.

Click the Blank Sheet of Parchment to get a Revealed Message (you can read it).

7) THE VORTEX: If you do not have the Wild Magic: Destroy AA, you need to go pursue that now (noted above).

Once you have the Wild Magic: Destroy AA, you need to....

• Find the right Magical Storms does not look like the dome / round storms. It is more like an electrified stormy disturbance.
• You need a location update (in the northeast 'cloth' area... /waypoint 1355, 1800, 220). 
  • If there is more than one (1) Magical Storm up, it's the one in the nearby pit debris (/waypoint 1280, 2255, 255).
  • Stand in the storm until you get the third level of the storm effect in your song window ('Temporal Disturbance III').
  • Once done, activate your Wild Magic: Destroy (via Hot Button or /alt act 15077).
  • Stand there until you get the update and a Charged Thundering Storm Essence.
• You need a location update (in the northeast 'Nest' area... /waypoint 1330, -1585, -360).
  • !!NOTE!!: The Wild Magic: Destroy has a 40-Minute re-use timer. So you may want to kill for experience or whatever, until it recycles.
  • If there is more than one (1) Magical Storm up, it's the one ..... (/waypoint 1550, -1780, -360).
  • Stand in the storm until you get the third level of the storm effect in your song window ('Temporal Disturbance III').
    • I suggest you are shrunk and on the backside of the eggs, to better hide from possible aggro... that or maybe clear the area).
  • Once done, activate your Wild Magic: Destroy (via Hot Button or /alt act 15077).
  • Stand there until you get the update and another Charged Thundering Storm Essence.
• You need a location update at the water 'Needle' area... /waypoint 2695, 330, 725).
  • !!NOTE!!: The Wild Magic: Destroy has a 40-Minute re-use timer. So you may want to kill for experience or whatever, until it recycled.
  • The way to this one is via the water area to the east (/waypoint 250, -390, 0).
    • Wend you way all the way up to the end, in the mid-north of the zone (/waypoint 2465, -90, -45).
    • There is a gargantuan jellyfish, that is actually an elevator that you can walk up on top of.
    • Before you walk on the jellyfish elevator, you will see much smaller, but still pretty large, jellyfish (it's not a MoB), that actually serves at an elevator attendant.
    • Click on elevator attendant jellyfish and then step up on to top of the elevator jellyfish, for a slow ride up to the needle platform.
    • Step off the elevator jellyfish and onto the platform for an update (/waypoint 2695, 330, 725).
    • As a note, you can get back down in the same manner.
  • If there is more than one (1) Magical Storm up, it's the one you want is at the needle (/waypoint 2630, 500, 725).
  • Stand in the storm until you get the third level of the storm effect in your song window ('Temporal Disturbance III').
  • Once done, activate your Wild Magic: Destroy (via Hot Button or /alt act 15077).
  • Stand there until you get the update and another Charged Thundering Storm Essence.

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (except any sub-combines... it should be in your Kiln Recipe List).

You will need at least five (5) Riven Arcana Crystal. If you didn't acquire any along the way, you can go farm some up or acquire them from other Players.

Take off your Yearning Cracked Mask of the Vortex (put it in your bags) and remove the augs.

Combine the Reconstituted Mercurial Filter; the three (3) Charged Thundering Storm Essence,; and five (5) Riven Arcana Crystal, along with the Yearning Cracked Mask of the Vortex, to make the Ravenous Reassembled Mask of the Vortex.

Be sure to equip your new Ravenous Reassembled Mask of the Vortex on and put augs in it!

2) PRE-REQUISITE ACHIEVEMENT(S): To proceed, at least five (5) of the below Achievements need to have been completed.

• Champion of Shattering of Ro (complete all the quests);
• Stormslayer (kill all the named targets);
• Paragon of Shattering of Ro (defeat all four (4) missions);
• Challenger of Shattering of Ro (complete all the mission challenges);
• Conqueror of Shattering of Ro (defeat all the raid events);
• Vanquisher  of Shattering of Ro (complete all the raid challenges).

3) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES:  Head back to Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn.

Hail Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn and follow along, or just try saying, 'Vortex' to get this task.

4) THE VORTEX: You are here to acquire at least four (4) Wriggling Colloidal Filament.

They are ground spawns in found the buildings and tunnels of the 'Mechanical Octopus' area to the southeast (/waypoint -240, 605, 0). They look like black collects.

Pick up extras, in case of tradeskill fails.

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (except any sub-combines... it should be in your Jewelry Table Recipe List).

In the Mixing Bowl, combine the four (4) Wriggling Colloidal Filament; a Jewelers Glass; and a Solo Setting Tool (sold by Jewelry Vendors in the zone, on 'Find'), to make the Moonlit Filigree Framework.
 

If you don't have a Jewelers Glass (Jewelry 20), you need to make one or acquire one from another Player. Be sure to retain this item for later.

• (1) Jewelers Glass Cup (Jewelry 30).
  • (1) Gnomish Heat Source (sold by Jewelry Vendors in the zone, on 'Find').
  • (1) Silver Bar (sold by Jewelry Vendors in the zone, on 'Find').
• (1) Jeweler Glass Lens.
  • (1) Glass Disk (Jewelry 30).
    • (1) Find Sand (sold by Jewelry Vendors in the zone, on 'Find').
    • (1) Gnomish Heat Source (sold by Jewelry Vendors in the zone, on 'Find').
  • (3) Grinding Powder (sold by Jewelry Vendors in the zone, on 'Find').

You will also get a A Mediocre Mundane Map.

6) THE VORTEX: You are looking for Archsage Feish, who is in the center are of the zone (/waypoint 10, -60, 0).

This is a raid event, so you will need a raid force.

Hail Archsage Feish and follow along, or just try saying 'Large,' to get this raid event, 'Tallongast, the Egg.'

Say 'Ready' to Archsage Feish to zone in.

Upon the win, there should be a Charged Blustering Storm Essence that drops as chest loot.

You will need at least six (6) Riven Arcana Crystal. If you didn't acquire any along the way, you can go farm some up or acquire them from other Players.

Take off your Yearning Reassembled Mask of the Vortex (put it in your bags) and remove the augs.

Combine the following in the Kiln:

Hail Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn and follow along, or just try saying, 'Complete' to get this task.

Hail Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn again and follow along to get the one-Player (no Mercs) instanced Expedition, 'Unbroken Potential.'

Say 'Ready' to Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn to zone in.

4) LABYRINTH OF SPITE: ECHO OF MAGIC: You will see Image of Druzzil Ro just ahead.

Go up and hail Image of Druzzil Ro and follow along.

Whereupon you should receive a Charged Paradoxical Storm Essence on your cursor. If not, check your bags.

After you get it, say 'Depart' to Image of Druzzil Ro to zone out (don't gate out, just in case it can possibly bug the update).

NOTE: You were taught the recipe by Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn (except any sub-combines... it should be in your Kiln Recipe List).

You will need at least seven (7) Riven Arcana Crystal. If you didn't acquire any along the way, you can go farm some up or acquire them from other Players.

Take off your Yearning Restored Mask of the Vortex (put it in your bags) and remove the augs.

In the Kiln, combine the Yearning Restored Mask of the Vortex with seven (7) Riven Arcana Crystal and the Charged Paradoxical Storm Essence, to make the Unbroken Mask of the Vortex.

Be sure to equip your new Unbroken Mask of the Vortex on and put augs in it!

8) ARCSTONE, SHATTERED ISLES: Head back to Senior Apprentice Mage Sarcrynn and hail him to finish up.

This should also complete the Achievement: Artisan of Shattering of Ro.
