MASK OF THE HIDDEN

A clicky mask for you!

It goes on face so I must ask... then how is it a hidden mask? -- Bonzz

This quest involves two (2) Dragon kills and awards a different Mask for each class.

The stats on the masks are not overly impressive, even for the time (Dragons of Norrath), but they do have a click effect.

While the masks are lore, they do not appear to be lore group... so you can potentially quest one for each of your Persona's if you want to!

• BARD: Speaker of the Scale (Kessdona's Roar a 1K DD).
• BEASTLORD: Chain of Dragon Kin (Glacier Spear, a 958 DD).
• BERSERKER: Fury Cloak (Destroyer's Volley, a +10,000% Throwing Accuracy buff).
• CLERIC: Braided Kirin Mane (Pious Light, a 3,770 Heal).
• DRUID: Mask of the Ancients (Chlorotrope, a 2,810 Heal).
• ENCHANTER: Chain of Talon's Charm (Psychosis, a 1,513 DD).
• MAGICIAN: Mark of the Last Wing (Star Strike (a 2,201 DD).
• MONK: Cloak of Scale Spines (Dragon Fang, a 1,200 DD with Hand to Hand +10,000% Accuracy).
• NECROMANCER: Mark of the Grave Finder (Soulspike, a 1,204 DD).
• PALADIN: Mantle of the Wyrmguard (Wave of Piety, a 1,316 Group Heal).
• RANGER: Sash of Dragon Kind (Frost Wind, a 956 DD).
• ROGUE: Dragonshade Mask (Assassin's Blood, a 150 DD, -150 Hate, -60 Dex attack)
• SHADOW KNIGHT: Mark of the Dragon Slayer (Touch of the Devourer, a 740 DD).
• SHAMAN: Mark of the Brood Warden (Yoppa's Mending, a 2,468 Heal).
• WARRIOR: Bladed Fang Mantle (Anger, a Stun & 100 DD with +650 Hate).
• WIZARD: Chain of the Kindred Scale (Corona Flare, a 3,770 DD).

QUEST SHORTCUT

1) THUNDERCREST ISLES: You are after Yar`Lir the Matriarch (level 80).

This is a raid event and part of Dragons of Norrath Progression (click here for details).

You need to loot the Eye of Yar'Lir (Lore, No Trade, Magic, Weight 1.0).

2) THE ACCURSED NEST: IN THE SHADOWS: You are after Vishimtar the Fallen (level 80).

This is a raid event and part of Dragons of Norrath Progression (click here for details).

You need to loot the Eye of Vishimtar (Lore, No Trade, Magic, Weight 1.0).

3) LAVASTORM MOUNTAINS: You need to buy a Broken Mask of the Hidden (Magic, Lore, No Trade, 2-Slot Giant, 0% Weight Reduction).

You can buy it either from Tatsujiro the Serene (Level 70) or Xeib Darkskies (level 70), depending on your Dragons of Norrath Faction being evil or good.

It will cost you 500 Radiant Crystals or 500 Ebon Crystals.

4) Now, combine the Eye of Yar'Lir and the Eye of Vishimtar inside the Broken Mask of the Hidden to make the Mask of the Hidden (Lore, No Trade, Magic, Weight 1.0, All/All).

5) THE ASCENT: Get you a good group up and head to this zone (in case you have to clear in). At higher levels, you can do this solo.

Head to the upper half of the zone and put on the Mask of the Hidden.

You will get some spam and see a path before you.

Follow the path!

It will lead you to the peak, in the area of /waypoint 6375, 330, where you will find A Mysterious Chest (Level 1).

Open it (/open) and loot your class related mask (see above)

NOTE: The Mask of the Hidden will disappear once you loot the item.
