Stone Cold Summer generally corresponds with, obviously, Summer.
Stone Cold Summer events are usually available around August / September of each year.
These events were first added in 2011* and were originally part of the Veil of Alaris pre-launch events.

While they may not technically be Stone Cold Summer events, I have included them here anyway, since they seem to cycle with actual Stone Cold Summer events.
In August of 2023, these were added to in the form of Overseer Quests and an Overseer Achievement, related to the Stone Cold Summer events.
A new type of Achievement was added during the 26th Anniversary... 2025 Live Events (complete certain 2025 Holiday, Seasonal and Anniversary Achievements... except collect sets). The requirements include a 2025 Stone Cold Summer Achievement (Achievement: Blood From A Stone).

ONLY THE BLIND WILL SEE (2011*)
* The 2011 events appear to have been part of the lead up to the Veil of Alaris expansion. However, they seem to resurface during Stone Cold Summer events every year. While they may not technically be Stone Cold Summer events, I have included them here anyway, since they seem to cycle with actual Stone Cold Summer events.
1) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: You are looking for Meeka Gharn, who is near the main bank (area of /waypoint 400, 465).
Hail and follow along, or just /say Take you there, to get teleported to Misty Thicket.

2) MISTY THICKET: Nearby you should see Arima Fae, who is in the mid-north part of the zone (/waypoint 890, -225).
Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, 'Do this,' to get this task / mission.
NOTE: While this is a group task / mission, you can get it solo. This mission scales to your Character Level (there are variants for Level 15, 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75 & 80+). The missions are all essentially the same, but take you to different (and sometimes the same) level-related zones. This guide will follow the Level 80+ mission variant.

3) SHADOW HAVEN: You are looking for Dwedrog, who is in a bar in the northeast (/waypoint 445, 1325).
Hail and follow along, if necessary, for an update.

4) STONEROOT FALLS: You are looking for a statue located in far northeast of the zone (area of /waypoint 950, 1590). It is the statue that serves as a clickable zone-in to Dreadspire.
Walk up to the statue (don't click it) for an update. If the update doesn't happen, move around the statue a bit.

5) MISTY THICKET: Head back to Arima Fae.
Hail and follow along, if necessary, for an update.

6) FUNGUS GROVE: You are looking for Jolly Arval, who is in a bar in the southern fort area of the zone (area of /waypoint -1190, -545).
Hail and follow along, if necessary, for an update.
Now head north out of the fort and turn right (area of /waypoint -295, -475) where you will be attacked by three (3) ambushing thief.
Kill them to acquire a Crinkled Note.

7) MISTY THICKET: Head back to Arima Fae.
Give the Crinkled Note to Arima Fae and then follow along, for an update.

9) KITHICOR FOREST: You are looking for Thimble Thrasher, who is in a back room of a building near the Commonlands zone line (/waypoint 1105, -700).
Hail and follow along, if necessary, for an update.

10) WESTERN WASTES: You are looking for an angel statue, on a rock, that is located in the northeast area of the zone (/waypoint 1700, -3300).
Go up to the statue, move around it if necessary, and you should get a Fractured Dragon Scale on your cursor.
When you do, three (3) ambushing thief will spawn nearby and attack you. Kill them.

11) MISTY THICKET: Head back to Arima Fae.
Hail and follow along, if necessary, for an update.

12) WEST KARANA: You are looking for Loneq Vardrin, who is along the mid-north wall of the zone (/waypoint 1330, -9930).
Hail Loneq Vardrin and follow along if needed, then give him the Fractured Dragon Scale.

13) MISTY THICKET: Head back to Arima Fae.
Hail and follow along. Then say 'Ready,' to get teleported into an instanced zone.

14) INNOTHULE SWAMP: ONLY THE BLIND WILL SEE: You are looking for Mianoanoc, a dragon just west of where you zone in (/waypoint 5, 1070).
Hail Mianoanoc, if needed and then fight Mianoanoc down to 30% whereupon he will stop fighting and tell you what you need to know (revealing information about the 'Blind Dreamer' statues and the Alaran language).

15) MISTY THICKET: Head back to Arima Fae.
Hail Arima Fae to finish up.
REWARD: Ancient Artifact (a weapon ornamentation).

1) MISTY THICKET: Nearby Arima Fae, you should see Helegan (/waypoint 860, -280).
Hail him and follow along, if needed, to get this group mission.
NOTE: While this is a group task / mission, you can get it solo.

2) NEKTULOS FOREST: You are looking for Begat Nayat, who is in the northwest area, near the Leatherfoot Halflings (/waypoint 945, 400).
Hail Begat Nayat and follow along, saying 'Ready' to get teleported into an instanced zone.

3) SHADOWED GROVE: BAGA'S STAND: You are here to kill Ven Baga, who is north and then to the east in a cave, from where you zone in (area of /waypoint -180, -445).
Go kill Ven Baga, but be aware that there are trash MoB's in the zone, that do respawn rather quickly (Baga brute, Baga assassin, Baga assassin and / or Baga henchman).
Ven Baga does not aggro, so you have to attack him. Once Ven Baga is dead, six (6) MoB's spawn (same as zone trash, but maybe a little tougher). Kill them to finish the mission.
REWARD: Ancient Text (a range item / placeable book).

1) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: You are here to acquire a couple of things.
First, you need a Simple Sewing Needle and two (2) Aligned Steel Thread.
If you don't have any, you can buy both from Tailor Kujen inside the small bank (/waypoint -335, 945).

2) THE FEERROTT: You are looking for Waagosh and her lizardman, Ruugz, who are both by a tree, near the path, northwest of the Innothule Swamp zone line (/waypoint 180, -1765).
Hail Waagosh and follow along, or just try saying, 'What investigations?' to get this task.
You should also get a Waagosh's Rug Sewing Kit.
NOTE: This task appears to scale to your Character Level. This guide is for the Level 110+ version.
NOTE: As you run about Feerrott, be sure to look for the ground spawn collect set.
NOTE: As you run about Feerrott, be sure to pick up any ground spawn mushrooms you see (Dungeon Rot Spores of Guk & Clutch of Dungeon Rot). They can be pre-looted and you need five (5) of each for the final task.

2) WESTERN WASTES (CoV): If you have a Skyshrine Crystal, it would come in handy about now.
You are here to acquire some items as follows:

2) THE FEERROTT: Head back to Waagosh, and give her the Stitched Scaly Skin Rug and then hail her to finish up.

Give him the Partially Digested Mushroom and follow along.

1) THE FEERROTT: Head back to Waagosh.
Hail Waagosh and follow along, or just try saying, 'invasive plants,' to get this task.

2) THE FEERROTT: You now need to do to following:

1) NORTH DESERT OF RO: Head back to Rubak.
Hail and follow along, or just try saying 'Infestation' to get this mission. Then say 'Travel' (or 'Ready') to zone into the instance.
This is a group mission, but you can get it solo.
There are two (2) Achievements related to this mission. One is to simply defeat it (Stone Cold Summer: Underground Spore Production). The other is to accomplish three different challenges (Stone Cold Summer: Spores, Molds, and Fungus) during the mission, which are outlined below.

2) DEEPEST GUK: MUSHROOM GROVE: This is a Lost Dungeons of Norrath zone on steroids. MoB's here generally see through invisible and are Level 116-plus. It also appears the assist range on some MoB's is larger than normal, particularly with a cave rat. MOB's do not respawn. Your corpse can pop outside in North Ro, even before the mission is over.
You are here to:

1) FIELD OF BONE: You are looking for Inis Zidas, who is standing by a fallen pillar, on the right side of the path leading towards Cabilis East (/waypoint -1950, 2720).
Hail Inis Zidas and follow along or just try saying, 'Fieldwork' to get this task.

2) FIELD OF BONE: Now you need to do the following:

3) FIELD OF BONE: Next, head to the ruined tower a short ways north of the path to Cabilis East (/waypoint -1095, 2190), for a location update.
Move up to the nearby a pile of bones (/waypoint -1020, 2185) and then stand there until you get a task update.
You will get a Blood of Chosooth (a 'Pour the blood of Chosooth' clicky).

4) FIELD OF BONE: Now click the Blood of Chosooth on the a pile of bones.
You should get a Forgotten Talisman (if not, you will get one with other clicks noted below).
Afterwards, run about to find different a pile of bones and click the Blood of Chosooth on them, until you have clicked six (6) different a pile of bones.
I found a pile of bones at (mostly around / near the Kaesora area): /waypoint -865, 1185; /waypoint -1955, 145 (lower floor of ruins); /waypoint -1900, -105; /waypoint 2090, 140; /waypoint -2005, 280; /waypoint -1620, 35; & /waypoint -1290, -370.
As you do this you should also get an Ink Stained Hand.

5) FIELD OF BONE: Head back to Inis Zidas.
Give the Forgotten Talisman and Ink Stained Hand to Inis Zidas and then hail Inis Zidas to finish up.
You will get six (6) Sanguine Seltzer (stat drink).
!!!NOTE!!! Hang on to the Blood of Chosooth, you will need it later!

1) FIELD OF BONE: Head back to Inis Zidas (/waypoint -1950, 2720).
Follow along with Inis Zidas after the first task (above); or hail Inis Zidas and then follow along; or simply try saying 'Troublesome' to get this task.
You will be given back the Ink Stained Hand.

2) KAESORA: Head into this zone.
Go south and drop down then wend your way to find a ground spawn (looks like a blue collect) Quill of the Librarian (/waypoint -220, 280, -105) (single charge 'Write the spell on the ink stained hand').
Once you have the Quill of the Librarian, click it (it will poof) to reveal some lore (aka 'hidden note') ('The Quill dips into the Blood of Chosooth as if it is ink and starts to write. The words are angry and broken. They speak of being disturbed and the work being unfinished.').

3) KAESORA: Wend your way east and back around north / west and into the lower 'Xalgoz Chapel' area.
On the top floor of the building across from the actual Chapel you will find the second Quill of the Librarian (/waypoint 75, 540, -265).
Once you have the Quill of the Librarian, click it (it will poof) to reveal some lore (aka 'hidden note') ('The Quill moves with speed as the words appear briefly in the air only to fade. The mystery writer getting angrier with each stroke.').

4) KAESORA: Wend your way back up and over to the far east 'Library' area.
Inside the Library you will find the third Quill of the Librarian (/waypoint 75, -400, -100).
Once you have the Quill of the Librarian, click it (this time, it will not poof) to reveal some lore (aka 'hidden note') ('You gather from the quills words that grave robbers woke an abandoned librarian. And now that spirit demands to be put back to rest.').
Now, in that same building make your way up the steps towards the second floor for a location update (/waypoint 95, -375, -85).
At the top of the stairs (/waypoint 60, -375, -75) you will see the ground spawn Broken Ossuary (looks like a blue collect). Pick it up for another update.

5) FIELD OF BONE: Head back to Inis Zidas.
Give the Broken Ossuary to Inis Zidas to finish up.
You will get six (6) Sanguine Seltzer (stat drink).

PATIENCE, PURIFICATION, AND PEACE (2025)
1) FIELD OF BONE: Head back to Inis Zidas (/waypoint -1950, 2720).
Follow along with Inis Zidas after the previous task (above); or hail and follow along with Inis Zidas; or just try saying "Library' to Inis Zidas to get this task.
Continue to follow along with Inis Zidas for another update.
You will be given back the Forgotten Talisman and the Broken Ossuary.

2) FIELD OF BONE: Head to the far north eastern side island for a location update (/waypoint 3180, 2050).

3) CABILIS EAST: You are looking for Klok Toren, who is a Smithing Vendor south of the main lake (/waypoint 200, -295).
Hail Klok Toren, follow along, and then give the Broken Ossuary to Klok Toren.
Klok Toren will give you an Empty Ossuary (a 3-Slot Combine Container).

4) KAESORA: Head back into this zone and then all the way back down to the 'Xalgoz Chapel' area in the southwest.
Go to the 2nd floor of the ruins (across from the main Chapel) for a location update (/waypoint 80, 535, -265). You may have to stand there a moment for the update to happen.
Next, combine the Blood of Chosooth, Forgotten Talisman and the Ink Stained Hand inside the Empty Ossuary, to make a Sealed Ossuary.
After that, head south-ish for another location update (/waypoint -165, 645, -300).
An abandoned librarian will spawn. Kill it for another update.

5) FIELD OF BONE: Head back to Inis Zidas.
Hail Inis Zidas to finish up. You will not need the Sealed Ossuary anymore.
You will get six (6) Sanguine Seltzer (stat drink).
This should complete the Achievement: Stone Cold Summer: Blood From A Stone. It will grant you a Faceless Hero of Kaesora (placeable item).
This should also update the 'Achievement: Stone Cold Summer: Blood From A Stone' step of the Achievement: 2025 Live Events.

STONE TO ROCK, GRAVEL TO DUST (2025 MISSION)
1) KAESORA: You are looking for Lanm Zidas, who is all the way down to the southwest near the 'Xalgoz Chapel' (/waypoint -225, 580, -300).
Hail Lanm Zidas and follow along, or just try saying 'the source,' to get this Mission (a group mission, but you can get it solo / molo).
Say 'help investigate' to zone into the instance.

2) KAESORA LIBRARY: STONE TO ROCK, GRAVEL TO DUST: You are here to:
Inside a chest can be placeable items (Fallen Hero of Kaesora, Nameless Hero of Kaesora, Stalwart Hero of Kaesora) or a clicky-box that grants a choice between one (1) or more different earrings (Bound Sanguine Earring Box, Sealed Sanguine Earring Box, Wrapped Sanguine Earring Box).
If you did the two (2) challenges, this should also complete the Achievement: Stone Cold Summer: Not My Bones (Mission Challenges).
This should complete the Achievement: Stone Cold Summer: Break the Stone. It will grant you a Banner of Kaesora (placeable item).

CREEPERS, DODDERS, AND UNINVITED LODGERS (THE FEERROTT) (2023 Collect Achievement)
1) THE FEERROTT: You are here to find and click (collect) eight (8) different ground spawn collect items.
They can be found all over the zone, mostly by trees and sometimes in huts. However, they are very hard to spot, due to all the trees and such in this zone. If you have a Spirit of the Lost click item, it will prove to be extremely handy here. When using the Spirit of the Lost, I suggest that do NOT follow the path you get. Instead, look at the map and go to the 'X' on the map, as it's a more direct path. Also, while running to the 'X,' keep an eye out, as the Spirit of the Lost does NOT always take you to the nearest collect, and you might spot some more on the way.
If you do not have a Spirit of the Lost, good luck! With the collect ground spawns hidden by trees, you could be right at one and not see it, because it is on the other side of the tree!

TEARS OF TERAAZ (THE FIELD OF BONE) (2025 Collect Achievement)
1) THE FIELD OF BONE: You are here to find and click (collect) eight (8) different ground spawn collect items.
They can be found all about, but it's a big zone. If you have a Spirit of the Lost click item, it will prove to be extremely handy here.
When using the Spirit of the Lost, I suggest that do NOT follow the path you get. Instead, look at the map and go to the 'X' on the map, as it's a more direct path. Also, while running to the 'X,' keep an eye out, as the Spirit of the Lost does NOT always take you to the nearest collect, and you might spot some more on the way.
I found most of mine hiding on one side of a tree (and mostly near Kaesora... south and east area of zone), but I also found some by the water and by ruins.

WORLD: STONE COLD SUMMER: QUESTS (2023 Overseer Achievement)
1) OVERSEER: This is an Overseer Achievement.
Complete the six (6) Stone Cold Summer Overseer quests, while they are active during Stone Cold Summer events. You will need to complete them in sequence, as they will not be offered unless you have defeated the previous Quest at least once (perhaps more than once).
Along the way you should also acquire the following twelve (12) Agents (or you can buy the Overseer Agent Pack: Stone Cold Summer in the Marketplace, to get these same agents): Avatar of Rallos Zek (#283), Dark Mesmer (#292), Footsoldier of Erillion (#291), General Tyronith (#284), Keramar the Naeya (#293), Kobold Predator (#287), Krag Warrior (#289), Rallosian Warmonk (#294), Runaway Clockwork (#288), Steamship Engineer (#286), Steel Cyclone (#290) & Zabak (#285).
