This page is intended for those who simply don't have the help, the time... and more often than not, the patience or diligence to pursue proper Planar Flagging (even though I strongly recommend and promote doing it the proper way).
Alternate flagging allows you access to zones that you would normally not be able to get into without attaining a certain level, obtaining proper flagging and/or joining a raid with enough properly flagged people to "will" you in (85% rule).
Alternate access does NOT give you the free AA, flagging or the charm upgrades that proper Planar Progression does.
These special access zones can only be entered after you attain a certain level (I call this "default" access), after you acquire the proper flag (I really promote this method over all others) or once you acquire the alternate access flag (noted below).
Otherwise, you will have to be willed in. This means that you have to tag along with other people who have access, following the 85% rule. This means that 85% of those you are with must have access. 85% (this translates into a 5-to-1 ratio… or 1 person per group).
Download and unzip this file to the 'storyline' folder of your EverQuest directory to have access to a generic, simplified version of Planar Progression Guides, in game, via your Story Window (Alt N)! NOTE: This file can be updated in the event of typo corrections, errors and new events, so you may need a fresh download / install every so often.
