BY-PASS OF HEIMGUL
This is a rather simple process that is useful (and needed) for progression!
It allows you to get past Heimgul, who guards the way to an area of the zone where there is an important quest NPC (Fergarin).
If you do not do this, you will not be able to get into this area (you get teleported back up the way).

THE QUEST
1) FROSTCRYPT, THRONE OF THE SHADE KING: First up, you need to kill MOB's in this zone for three (3) random drops.
You need three (3) Mark of Rallos Zek (No Trade, Weight 0.6).

2) FACTION: Now you need faction.
You will need ally faction with the "Wraithguard Leadership."
This requires you undertake various other tasks handed out by NPC's in Valdeholm.
Some of these tasks give significant faction, so it isn't as arduous as it sounds.
The best place to start is with the tasks handed out by Wraithguard Lorekeeper Fenegar (Level 78), as you can get the tasks with dubious faction (starting with this one).

3) VALDEHOLM: You are looking for Wraithguard Heimgul (Level 75).
Hail him.
If he says, "Welcome little one. You'd best keep your distance. I can only permit those [authorized] to enter here. You'll need to speak with the commander if you want any hope of getting past me." --- then you do not have the right faction.
Go back to Step 2.
If he says, "Hah! Looks like you've got the Commander's seal of approval. I should just let you pass but, well you see, this post here doesn't have the best of pay. I think I deserve a little [something] for letting someone as small as you through." --- then you have the right faction.
If you have the right faction, say, "Something" and he will ask for the three (3) Mark of Rallos Zek.
Give them to him for a hidden progression flag.
You may now freely enter the area of the zone where Fergarin Bardon I (Level 78) is located (he gives the tasks out for further progression).
