This is because it does not involve major raids and because it is basically a series of eight (8) group tasks and a few solo tasks.
While you can do any of the group missions in any order, the solo tasks clearly have a set sequence, as one leads to the other in combination with the group tasks.
In short, your Combine Signet Ring (see below) will upgrade as you slowly put together the proper sequences of events (after 1A, 2A, 3, 4, 5A, 6, 7 & 8A, as noted below). If you are unsure as to what you have done, you can look at the Hit Points to get an idea (look at the end of those same steps, for more).
For instance, if you have done group tasks 1, 3 and 4, but not group task 2 or the solo "City in Peril" tasks in between... your ring will not show any stat upgrades until you do the solo City in Peril Tasks and the 2nd group tasks, to complete the sequence.
However, events can only be requested (obtained) in sequence. So, if you do them out of order (by tagging along with others), you may not be able to request events beyond the sequence (proper order) for which you have personally completed.
The rewards for these tasks are faction, coin and Orum (aka Orux).
Also, a thing to know about TBS Missions is that the task rewards are server "dynamic." This means rewards will change based on how often tasks/missions are done. The ones players do the most (farm) will drop in value (Orum), while the ones players do the least, will increase in reward value (Orum).

1) KATTA CASTRUM: You are looking for Prime Researcher Elnot Waymun (Level 80).
He is right there in the main pyramid on the main floor.
Hail him and follow along or just try saying, "Pursue" to get the solo task called, "A City in Peril: Speak with Researcher Plik."
He will give you the non-progressed Combine Signet Ring (no stats yet).

2) Now look for Associate Researcher Plik (Level 75), who is nearby.
Hail him to complete this first task.

3) If you have a good group together, follow along with Associate Researcher Plik, or just try saying, "Help," to get the group task called "Knowledge of Power."
.
4) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: Head to this zone.
Invis and follow your compass to the top of a pyramid to find the portal you need.

5) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: KNOWLEDGE OF POWER: You will appear inside a pyramid.
The entire task takes place herein.
Pull and kill you way to the top floor, essentially killing all of the MOB's in between.

6) On the top floor, where you will see three named MOB's and a few A Blind Seeker (Level 75).
Kill all MOB's but these (they will not assist).
Once you have cleared all other MOB's, speak to Yinihortinkah (Level 80).
When you are ready to begin the game of "hide and seek," say, "Ready."
NOTE: Speaking to Dezthazkekol (Level 80) seems to get you a line of gibberish, but if you read it backwards, it advises you that it is a good idea to clear the lower floors, first.

7) The goal now is for the party members to evade being "found" by any of the A Blind Seeker for a series of three (3) waves.
If you cleared the MOB's as noted, there will be no need for any fighting. If you have to do any fighting, you will very likely fail anyway.
All you have to do is find a place to hide, within the pyramid, to succeed.
If you are found, you will get a yellow emote saying that your have been found.
The group only fails if everyone is found in each wave.
You may notice that each "wave" involves Yinihortinkah shouting a maneuver code (Azia, Beza, Caza, Dena and Ena) which directs all of the A Blind Seeker to move about in certain patterns. Don't worry about figuring out those patterns, I am going to tell you how to evade them.
To start with, only the group leader is to stay up top.
Everyone else is to run all the way down directly across into a room at the bottom. This room is safe from all patterns, except "Azia."
Once there, the leader can start the event and try to run to the same place, undetected.
If the "Azia" pattern is called, run out of that room and around to the left to the room in that direction.
There is also a trick to hiding above the doorway (in the first room, just noted above) that is safe from all patterns! It is very tricky to get on the doorway, but you basically shrink, levitate and use the vase to get up there.

8) Once you have managed to evade each wave, head back up to Yinihortinkah.
Say to him, "What is causing the powersource to fail?".

9) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Associate Researcher Plik.
Hail him to finish this task.
NOTE: People can be gimped in these tasks, but no one can be zoning when the final step is accomplished.

10) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Prime Researcher Elnot Waymun.
Hail him and follow along or just try saying, "Pursue" to get the solo task called, "A City in Peril: Go and Speak with Assistance Researcher Maladoks about the Kedge."

11) Now find Assistant Researcher Maladoks (Level 75), who is nearby.
Hail him to complete this task.
Your Combine Signet Ring, among other stats, should now show 30 Hit Points.

12) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Assistant Researcher Maladoks.
Hail and follow along with him, or just try saying, "Travel?" to get the group task called, "Locating the Statue."

13) THALASSIUS: LOCATING THE STATUE: This instanced zone is located at the same portal as the regular zone.
It is in the southeast area of Katta Castrum (about the 4 o'clock position on the outer ring).
When you step on the portal, you will get a window asking if you want to zone in.
Choose yes, of course.
.
14) Once inside, your targets are located inside the tunnel to the north, and then around to the left.
You can often invis a good portion of the way in. The only MOB's that see invis are the "puddle" MOB's.
So, scout for the "puddles" and if there are any in the way, stop in a corner of the room and clear them and any other nearby MOB's.
It is also a good idea to clear the wandering MOB's as well, to avoid a possible train.
Be warned, however, pulling can be tricky from one room to another... especially up ramps. MOB's have the nasty habit of warping and bringing a train with them if you try to pull them up ramps…. so don't!
It is better to fight them in the room they are in (run in to one corner, left or right, and clear the necessary MOB's.
Keep clearing your way left until you have circled down to the west. It is the west room where your targets are located.

15) A good puller and/or crowd control can come in handy here.
You need to pull and kill the four (4) A Statue Guardian (Level 75) and Brendanus Riordan (Level 78).
These MOB's are a step up from the rest of the zone trash.
Especially so, for Brendanus Riordan. He has a boat load of HP, so you really want to get him solo.

16) Once they are dead, go into the next room up to the statue (in the center) for the last update in this zone.
At this point, everyone in the group should get an Etching Transcript (No Trade, Weight 0.1).
Hold on to this for later.

17) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Assistant Researcher Maladoks.
Hail him to finish this mission.
.
18) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Prime Researcher Elnot Waymun.
Give him the Etching Transcript and he will give it back.
Hail him and follow along, if necessary, for the solo task called, "A City in Peril: Deliver the Rubbing to the Head Mage."

19) Now find Head Mage Antius (Level 75), who is nearby.
Give him the Etching Transcript to finish this solo task.
Follow along if you wish.
Your Combine Signet Ring, among other stats, should now show 60 Hit Points.

3) THE SNAKES ARE HIDING SOMETHING!
20) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Prime Researcher Elnot Waymun.
Hail him and follow along (or try the key word "Shissar') for the solo task called, "A City in Peril: Speak with Tactician Sodut."

21) Now find Tactician Sodut (Level 70).
Sodut is located in the "tent" area outside of the main pyramid, on the southern side.
.
22) Hail Sodut to finish this solo task and get a ring upgrade.
.
23) If you have a very good group together, follow along with Sodut or just try saying, "I will help you find out," to get the group task called, "The Snakes are Hiding Something."

24) ZHISZA: THE SNAKES ARE HIDING SOMETHING: Zone in by simply saying "ready" to Sodut.
You will appear near a small building that is not quite a safe haven.
The zone out is just outside this building, to the right, on top of the mini-pyramid.
The first two task updates are inside the cave just to the north.
I was able to invis and get both updates.

25) The next target is to the west.
You will have to kill any and all A Shissar Deathmaker and A Pain Golem type MOB's as you go along (all were Level 76 to 77), as they see invis.
The "bug," "spider" and "gorilla" type MOB's do not aggro or assist, so don't panic.
As you fight to the west, you will eventually get to a little opening where there are two "Golem" (A Basher Golem) type MOB's near a small quarry-like area (you can tell by the quarried stone, but it is not what you would expect when thinking of a quarry).
Kill these golems and one of them should drop Schematic: Golem of Power (No Trade, Magic, Lore, Weight 0.1).

26) Now fight/invis on around to the Pyramid in the far north.
Once there, you need to clear into the pyramid, to the second floor (basically straight in to the wall, turn right and then stay left and you will run into the ramp that goes up).
It may be a good idea to pull MOB's out of the pyramid until you clear the way to the ramp.

27) Once you are to the second floor, you are looking for the Level 78 to 79 "Shissar" (A Shissar Patroller) MOB's.
Kill them until you get a Schematic: Pyramid (No Trade, Magic, Lore, Weight 0.1).

28) Now head back out the way you came, back to the zone in.
Don't worry, this zone did not seem to respawn.
Once back at the zone in, the final update is to go into the cave and approach the named MOB inside Lesstos Fintal (Level 77).
This can be done by an FD player, with IVU, perhaps Invis or a fast runner who can handle some hits (after everyone else zones out first).
You don't have to kill any MOB's to do this, unless you feel the need.

29) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Tactician Sodut.
Give him the Schematic: Golem of Power and the Schematic: Pyramid and then hail him to finish this mission.
Your Combine Signet Ring, among other stats, should now show 90 Hit Points.

30) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Tactician Sodut.
Once you have a good group together, hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "I am strong enough," to get the group task called "Counter-Attack."

31) ZHISZA: COUNTER-ATTACK: Just say "Finished" to Sodut to be teleported into this zone.
.
32) You need to find and kill Quarrymaster Aszhe (Level 83).
He is located around to the left, from the zone in.
He hits for 2.5K and needs to be killed fast. The longer you fight the harder he hits.
He will also spawn more and more (10) unmezzable adds (A Golem Soldier and A Golem Shadowknight, all Level 76) the longer you take (about 10 adds, each spawn), but they are low HP adds. AoE is good!
Secret strategy: Evac after the named is dead and let the adds despawn before looting... or even better, pull the named a good way from his spawn spot and kill him there (adds spawn at the original spawn location and will take a minute to run to you, allowing you a bit more time to focus on the named alone).
He will drop a Shissar Poison Sac (No Trade, Weight 0.2).
Loot it.

33) You need to find and kill Commander Klim (Level 83).
He is in the open on the right side of the pyramid (as you face the entrance).
He hits for 2.5K and needs to be killed fast. The longer you take the harder he hits.
He spawns waves of about two (2) mezzable adds, but they are low HP adds. The longer you take, the more adds you will see.
He will drop a Shissar Poison Sac (No Trade, Weight 0.2).
Loot it.

34) You need to find and kill Rhag'Zorin (Level 83).
He is in a side room on the second floor of the pyramid.
He hits for 2.5K and needs to be killed fast. The longer you take the harder he hits.
He spawns about two (2) to three (3) mezzable adds about every 30 seconds.
Secret strategy: Kill the adds as they spawn so they don't overwhelm you.
He will drop a Shissar Poison Sac (No Trade, Weight 0.2).
Loot it.

35) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Tactician Sodut.
Hail him and give him the three (3) Shissar Poison Sac, to finish this task!
Your Combine Signet Ring, among other stats, should now show 120 Hit Points.

36) Once you have a good group together, speak to Sodut again.
Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "Undertake," to get the group task called "Confront Emperor Vaakiszh."

37) ZHISZA: CONFRONT THE EMPEROR: Say "Alert" to Sodut, to be teleported into this instanced zone.
The first objective is straight forward. You need to get back to the pyramid, which can be done with invis, only stopping occasionally to kill a few MOB's that see invis.
Once at the Pyramid, you need to pull and clear all the way to the third floor.
In doing so, be sure you find and kill five (5) A
.
38) On the third floor you will find Emperor Vaakiszh (Level 83).
He is not aggro... yet, so make sure all trash MOB's are dead.
When ready, casters/healers can stand off to one side on the wall (to avoid incoming adds better) and someone needs to talk to the Emperor (key word, "Death").
This will activate the sequence and four (4) waves of two (2) to three (3) adds, which will spawn and rush in from the hallway.
In the first three (3) waves, the Emperor remains non-aggro, so focus on the adds.
In the fourth wave, the Emperor attacks (you have to deal with him and the adds at the same time). It is best to "control" the adds, kill the Emperor and then kill the adds, on this wave.
The Emperor hits for up to 3.5K, flurries and enrages.
The adds are A Shissar Commander, A Shissar Shadowknight and A Shissar Soldier (all Level 75... generally immune to root/snare but they are mezzable).
Once the Emperor is dead, loot the Orders to Vaakiszh (Lore, No Trade, Weight 0.2).

39) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Tactician Sodut.
Give him the Orders to Vaakiszh, to finish this task!

40) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back inside the main pyramid and find Prime Researcher Elnot Waymun, again.
Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "Shissar," to get the task, "A City in Peril: Speak with Tactician Sodut."

41) Now head back out to Tactician Sodut, outside the pyramid.
Hail him to complete this task.
Your Combine Signet Ring, among other stats, should now show 165 Hit Points.

42) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Tactician Sodut.
Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "Proceed," to get the next "City in Peril: Make Contact with the Shissar Loyalists" task.

43) You are now looking for Vizier Zio (Level 75).
He is located on the top floor of a round building that is in the next-to-outer ring, in about the 4 o'clock position (n2010, n2010).
Hail him to complete this task.

44) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Vizier Zio.
Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "Goals," to get the group mission called, "Where There's A Will."

45) ZHISZA, THE SHISSAR SANCTUARY: Head to this zone (this is the normal zone).
You are here, basically, to get to the next zone.
At the end of the caves (to the right, from the zone in building), is a secret wall.
Click to wall to reveal a short hall leading to a doorway.

46) SILYSSAR: WHERE THERE'S A WILL: You will appear in a cave.
Exit the cave and you will see a teleporter directly across the way (it looks just like the ones in the Pyramid in Katta, with the stacked spinning rings… like the ones from the Stargate TV show, in a way).
Clear any trash MOB's in the area and go to the islet and set up to the left, away from the teleporter.
Once the area is clear, is where it gets tricky.
The goal here is for one (1) party member to inch up near the teleporter so they are close enough to "hear" A Shissar Sorcerer (Level 80), but not be "seen" by A Shissar Sorcerer.
If you are "seen," the mission will be lost!
Basically, you can hear them within a range of about 100 and they will see you if you get within a range of about 25.
A Shissar Sorcerer will walk back and forth to the teleporter. Your goal is to see one “use” it to teleport up to the pyramids, above.
The first seven (7) or so times you "watch," three (3) A Shissar Boneslither (light blue at Level 82) will teleport "down" and aggro the group. Kill them.
No worries however, it is the Sorcerer that looses the task for you, if seen… not these guys.
After about the seventh wave of this, the task will update.
There will be emotes that all party members can see (re: the adds or the task update).

47) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Vizier Zio.
Hail him to finish this task.
Your Combine Signet Ring, among other stats, should now show 195 Hit Points.

48) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Vizier Zio.
Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "Capable," to get the group mission called, "Slay the Serpent."

49) SILYSSAR: SLAY THE SERPENT: Get to this zone just as before.
Once here, your first goal is to get some location updates. You will have to fight your way to them, as most everything sees invis here.
The updates are (pay attention to the third coordinate, as it indicates your height… the pyramids have several floors):
Click the doorway to zone in to Silyssar: Where There's A Will.
· Investigate the Teleporter (directly ahead, you will get this as you use it to go up into the first pyramid);
· Investigate the Obelisks in Xyn’kris,
· Investigate the sacrificial room in Xyn’kris,
· Investigate the Obelisks in Yiashia,
· Investigate the aqueducts in Yiashia,
· Investigate the sacrificial room in Zhissis,
· Investigate the aqueducts in Zhissis,

50) Now you need to find and kill Saarisz the Undying (Level 83), who is in the room to the left, off the bottom ramp of the third pyramid (are of p153, n661, p591).
She has two mezzable helpers, A Guardian of the Undying (Level 76), summons, AoE ramp, 20% spell slow, 1.5K Lifetap, an FD that will intoxicate you (-650 Cold, 20 Alcohol Tolerance) and a 4.5K DD snare.

51) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Vizier Zio.
Hail him to finish the task!
Your Combine Signet Ring, among other stats, should now show 225 Hit Points.

52) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Vizier Zio.
Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "Search," to get the group mission called, "Stop the Ritual."

53) SILYSSAR: SLAY THE SERPENT: Get to this zone just as before.
Once here, your first goal is a location update, which you will get when you should get when you use the teleporter to go up into the first pyramid.

54) Now make your way to the third pyramid.
This is not as difficult as it sounds, as the teleporter to the 2nd and then the 3rd pyramids are just inside the 1st and 2nd pyramids, respectively, in the top rooms.
.
55) As you enter the third pyramid… pay very close attention to the emotes!
This is extremely important, as it reveals to you which order you have to kill the nameds!
You will see them emoting chants…. And the type of chant reveals the order as follows:
· First: “Ritual High Chant”
· Second: “First Ritual Middle Chant”
· Third: “Second Ritual Middle Chant”
· Fourth: “Ritual Low Chant”
Take note of which MOB has which emote and then set off to kill them in that order. Be careful, their names are very, very close spellings of each other!

56) Now clear to them and kill the four MOB’s in the proper order, determined by the above step (by the way, AoE is a bad idea here).
If you kill them in the wrong order, they respawn and you do not get the update.
Your targets are (all Level 75, immune to snare, mez, pacify… no worse than trash MOB’s really):
· Ssahkra the Lich
· Ssakhar the Lich
· Ssakhra the Lich
· Ssahkar the Lich

57) You may have noticed (or even aggroed) Empress Saarisz the Undying (Level 83). Just be sure you kill here last!
She hits for 3.5K, has a spell slow, 1.5K Lifetap, 3K Mana Drain with a 600 per tick drain, 2.5K DD/snare, and an FD proc.
Once she is dead, loot the Softly Glowing Runed Pendant (Lore, No Trade, Weight 0.2). There should be one for each group member.
The task ends with this step (no final hail).

58) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Vizier Zio.
Simply hail him to get the final "City in Peril: Give the Items he Requested to Elnot" task.

59) Head back to Prime Researcher Elnot Waymun.
Give him your Combine Signet Ring (remove any augs first!) and the Softly Glowing Runed Pendant (from the 8th task, above).
He will give back to you the fully progressed Combine Signet Ring!
Your Combine Signet Ring, among other stats, should now show 300 Hit Points!
You are also now properly flagged for Solteris, the Throne of Ro!
60) SOLTERIS, THE THRONE OF RO: The first upgrade for your ring involves the second (2nd) event in this zone, known as the “Deadly Swarm.”
WARNING! Have a bag slot open!
Once the event is defeated, A Chest (Level 1) will appear. You need to loot a Corrupted Drop of Focused Sunlight (Lore, No Trade, Weight 0.1, Weight Reduction 0%, 1–Slot Small).

Simply put your Combine Signet Ring inside the Corrupted Drop of Focused Sunlight to make your new ring:
