THE EYEPATCH OF PLUNDER
This quest is not all that difficult. There is no great expense, nor is there a lot of travel needed. In the end, you a get a neat face item!

THE QUEST
1) GREAT DIVIDE: Go to the Tizmak caves (west and a little south of Thurgadin, on wall/cliffs).
Kill various Tizmaks (Level 25 to 29) until you get four (4) Yakman Parts (Magic, No Drop, Weight 2.4).
These MOB's were all relatively easy to me at Level 52.
.
2) Now head south/west along wall again. When you see the Dragon Portal structure, head directly south and then a little to the left (not far from Velketor's Labyrinth zone).
There you will find a cave populated by Cave Kodiaks (in the area of n6048 p2860) (all Level 30 to level 36).
You need to make your way straight back into the cave (do not take the left or right tunnels, go straight).
Once you get back to the opening you should see Bloodmaw (Level 20) with A Bloody Gnome Captive (Level 1) standing behind him. You do not want to attack or aggro him! Bloodmaw has a very low aggro range. Hug the right wall and wall and sneak around behind Bloodmaw.
He can be Pacified.
Then turn around and put a Yakman Meat on your cursor. Try to trade it to Bloodmaw.
If you are too far away, take one step and try again. Keep doing this until you manage to get a trade window with Bloodmaw.
You do this so that you get in trade range, but not aggro range (seriously). Once you have the trade window up, put all four (4) Yakman Meats in the trade window and trade them to Bloodmaw.
If this doesn't work, shroud as a Rogue and hide / sneak to do it.
Bloodmaw will immediately despawn.
.
3) Now to turn to A Bloody Gnome Captive, target him and say, "I want the map."
He will then give you Third Part of an Iceclad Map (Magic, Lore, No Drop, Weight 0.1).
.
4)
Lodizal may require some help (once a raid MOB).
He spawns on the ice flows of the shore of the Gnoll camp near the
Lodizal's spawn rate is once a day (every 24 hours).
.
5) Now head for the Druid Portal (aka
Once there, fight and kill every A Dire Wolf (Level 28 to 36) in sight. Eventually, this should cause a Dire Wolf Stalker to spawn (about a Level 35 MOB). Having a tracker with you help find it and know when it spawns, is of great help.
Kill the Dire Wolf Stalker and loot First Part of an Iceclad Map (Magic, Lore, No Drop, Weight 0.1).
I had the aid of a Druid tracker and a Shadowknight to basically mow down the wolves until the Stalker popped up on track. On-line data I had read put the spawn near the Druid port, but it actually spawned closer to the bridge near Eastern Wastes.
.
6) Now head to the second island, in the area of p5790 p708.
You will need to camp a griffin called Stormfeather, whose spawn time is unclear... but it at least 19 hours. Most indicators are that Stormfeather "has a chance" to spawn once a day. Stormfeather (Level 34 or 35).
This is by far the hardest part of the quest... simply catching this MOB up!
You will need to kill Stormfeather and loot Second Part of an Iceclad Map (Magic, Lore, No Drop, Weight 0.1).
NOTE: If it is the time of the year for Fabled MOB’s, the Fabled Stormfeather can drop the Fabled Eyepatch of Plunder!
.
7) Go to the A Lost Pirate (in the area p6750 p1007).
NOTE: Make sure you have a bag slot open!
Hail him and follow along or just try saying, "I will find the parts of the map." He will give you a Map Binding (Lore, No Drop, 4-slot container, Small, 0% Weight Reduction, Weight 0.3).
.
8) Some say the Map Binding is bugged and you now have to zone to get it to work properly.
In any case, simply put the four (4) map pieces in the Map Binding and combine them to make Pieces of the Iceclad Map (No Trade, Magic, Lore, Weight 0.1).
.
9) Then give the Pieces of the Iceclad Map back to the Lost Pirate and he will give you a Completed Map of Iceclad (Lore, No Drop, Magic, Weight 0.1).
This turn in will spawn a Rabid Snow Cougar (Level 35) that will attack you. There is no purpose for this MOB but to simply make the quest more dangerous (silly, really).
.
10) Now head over to Captain Nalot (Level 51), who is located in one of the igloo's at the Pirate camp on the 2nd
Give Captain Nalot the Completed Map of Iceclad and he will give you the Eyepatch of Plunder!
