VIAL OF VELIUM VAPORS

This item is actually part of the Coldain Prayer Shawl quest(s).

However -- it is relatively simple, easy to obtain and useful to a Paladin! Now you can gate to Thurgadin!

THE QUEST

1) Velketor's Labyrinth: Start here.

Simply get a group and kill MOB's until you obtain at least 3 (three) Crystalline Silks, 1 (one) Small Brick of Velium (the 7 pound one) and 2 (two) Small Pieces of Velium.

These items can be obtained in other zones and/or the Bazaar as well.

2) Thurgadin: In Thurgadin, find the NPC Merchant Frundle Frenklar in the west extension of the tunnels.

Make sure you have an open bag slot!

Say to Frundle, "What velium vial?"

You will receive a Velium Purifier (lore, no drop, weight 3.0, 4-slot medium container).

3) Now go to the bank area of Thurgadin.

Buy 2 (two) Glass Shards and 1 (one) High Quality Firing Sheet off an NPC there.

4) Put the 7-pound Small Brick of Velium, 3 (three) unstacked Crystalline Silks and the 2 (two) unstacked Glass Shards in the nearby Pottery Wheel and hit combine.

You will get an Unfired Velium Vial (no drop).

Trivial is said to be a Pottery skill of 130.

5) Put the Unfired Velium Vial and the High Quality Firing Sheet in the nearby Kiln and hit combine.

You will get a Velium Vial (no drop).

6) Now place the Velium Vial and the 2 (two) unstacked Small Pieces of Velium into the Velium Purifier.

Hit combine and you will be left with the Vial of Velium Vapors!

The Velium Purifier will be expended in the process.
