MAKING THE CULTURAL SYMBOL AUGMENTATIONS

Below are recipe grids and information on making the cultural "symbol" augmentations.

They can be made with Smithing or Tailoring (or Tinkering).

The exact same augmentations can be made with either skill.

These recipes make the various Slot 11 Cultural augs. These augs are deity specific (not race specific).

Unlike cultural armor, any race can make augs for any deity.

However, you can only equip augs that match your deity (to include agnostic, aka no deity).

Special cultural combine containers and tools are not required for the below combines.

The "water" used to make the aug is what determines the deity specification. In October 2007, the crafted water was removed as a requirement. All you need now is the merchant sold water.

The pattern is what determines the "level" of the aug (blessed, revered, sacred, eminent, exalted or sublime), as well as which cultural armor type it will fit into (hands, legs, etc.).

The names of the augs will be determined by the applicable level, armor slot and the applicable deity.

Example, an aug made with any Eminent pattern will be called an "Eminent..." aug. An aug for boots will include the reference, "Boot Symbol of...". An Aug for Mithaniel Marr followers will include the reference, "...of Integrity."

They then all combine to provide the full name of the augmentation. In the case of the noted examples, you get an "Eminent Boot Symbol of Integrity."
