This is basically an exploration and kill task. It is easily doable with a decent group and everyone can do the task at the same time. Doing this task will open of the task, "Tipping the Balance," as well!

QUEST SHORTCUT

1) RELIC, THE ARTIFACT CITY: You are looking for Tenaro the Arcane (Level 70).

He is located in the area of n607, p193. This is on the far edge (to right after you zone in), hidden behind the wall there.

Hail him and follow along to get this task, or just try saying "What task?"

2) You now simply need to explore and kill for the updates.

The updates in order are:

• Explore Courtyard of Contemplation (in the area of p421, n810);
• Explore Mystical Bazaar (near the Tellenguards in the area of p1060, p317);
• Find the way to the Upper section (find the teleport pad, center of zone on the area of p415, n315);
• Explore the Small Platform of Storms (no in the upper level via the teleport pad, in the area of p711, n101);
• Slay two of the creatures near the Small Storm Platform (kill two A Living Vortex, Level 70);
• Explore the Small Magma Platform (in the area of p439, n327);
• Kill two of the creatures near the Small Magma Platform (kill two An Animated Flamespout, Level 70);
• Explore the Small Glacial of Platform (in the area of n338, p77)
• Destroy two of the creatures near Small Glacial Platform (kill two A Cresting Wave, Level 70)
• Find the Locked portal to the Mysterious Tower (this is back near the Magma Platform, in the area of p377, p171)

3) Now head back to Tenaro the Arcane.

Hail him for the final step and claim your Epaulettes of the Lost Mage!
