QUEST SHORTCUT
1) ICECLAD OCEAN: You will need to camp and kill Lodizal -- the giant Level 60 sea turtle.
He can be killed with one good 57-plus group (use slow and nukes).
Lodizal spawns about every 8.5 hours. Lodizal also drops other desired items -- but for this quest, what you want is the Section of Lodizal's Shell (Weight 2.5, Magic).
Note that this item is not no drop, so you can buy/sell/trade it.

2) You will now need 1,000 Platinum. Obtain it.

3) COBALT SCAR: Port in and run straight out and down to the beach.
In one of the Othmir camps you will find Bungre Crawcrusher (Level 45).
NOTE: If you are KoS -- you will have to work on faction.
Hand him the Section of Lodizal's Shell along with 1,000 Platinum.
He will give you the Lodizal Shell Shield!
