This quest is for a nice shield Aug!

Yes, it will fit in other slots, but the best benefit is in your shield (or secondary) slot.

This is because AC on a Paladin's shield is multiplied several times, when worn, by up to five (5) times! I don't know why this is, but it is. This 30 AC Aug gained me 131 AC (About 4.37 times face value).

Non-Hybrids/Melee will get a mana variant of this same Aug.

..

Illsalin Enforcer Medal: Type 7 or 8 Augmentation; Weight 0.0; Most Slots; Melee/Hybrids only; 30AC, 30 HP, 30 MANA, 30 END; Required Level 70.

.

STATUS: Completed and Confirmed!

THE QUEST(S)

1) UNDERSHORE: You are looking for Freemind Cipher (Level 68).

He is along the wall near the waterfall, near the Corathus Creep zone line.

Simply hail and choose the task called “The Last Migration” (hard version).

If he does not offer you this task, you may have to do the normal version first. If he doesn’t offer you the normal version either, you may have to do some of the other tasks first.

If you need to do other tasks first, note that around him are several A Budding Mindspore (Level 1).

Kill or /open one of them and loot An Unhusked Mindspore (No Trade, Weight 0.1, Type 4 Slot). Upon looting it, you will get a lore pop-up window asking if you want to eat it.

Click "Yes" and you will then get a task window that will allow you to do other tasks.

I will not detail the various other tasks here.

Once you are able to get the “hard” version of “The Last Migration,” then go to the next step.

.

2) THE NARGILOR PITS: THE LAST MIGRATION: Head to this zone.

It is located off the far bridge in The Ruins of Illsalin.

Once here (you will need a good group and a good puller will be very beneficial), do the following:

·         Pull and clear the center area of both static MOB's and those that wander in an out of the hallways;

·         Pull and kill to locate An Ornate Chest (Level 1) in one of the four side halls (it is a random spawn);

·         Loot a Carved Nargil Triangle (Lore, No Trade, Weight 0.1) from An Ornate Chest;

·         Now kill The Guardian of the Pit (Level 71 to 73);

·         Then use the Carved Nargil Triangle to open the door (put on cursor and click the door or type "U");

·         Clear the next room of MOB's (WARNING -- do not try and pull up the ramp or through the door, due to bad pathing);

·         Hail A Sporali Free Spore (Level 65) and follow along;

·         In about two (2) minutes A Sporali Free Spore will begin to walk... follow him;

·         He will head towards the zone out and along the way, one or more waves of attackers will spawn and attack him, two (2) at a time;

·         NOTE: My group only had one (1) wave of two (2) attackers;

·         While A Sporali Free Spore can hold his own pretty well, defend him and kill the attackers;

·         He will path right over the pit trap, but he will not fall in (be careful not to fall in yourself);

·         Once he reaches the zone line, your task will update for the win, granting you the Illsalin Enforcer Medal;

·         An Ornate Chest (Level 1) will also spawn there with a loot item for the group to roll on.
