CHARM OF THE EMERALD WARRIOR

This quest is commonly known as Gandak's Ill-Fated Trip.

Stats with Maximum Emerald Warrior Faction: AC 3; DEX 8; HP 15; POISON 15.

QUEST SHORTCUT

1) GREATER FAYDARK: Find Faerik Windrunner, up top near by one of the lifts to Kelethin.

Hail him and follow along or just try saying, "What fortress in the sea?"

He will give you the Medallion of the Emerald Warrior (Lore, Magic, No Drop, Weight 0.1).

2) DULAK HARBOR: Start in Dulak, in the caves behind the secret door of the fence.

In fact, you want to go to the same place that you went with the Light of Life quest, to find Chester.

Pull and kill from this area until you manage to kill enough Emissary of Hate (Level 47) and Emissary of Suffering (Level 46 to 48) MOB's to loot both the Insignia of Hatred and the Insignia of Slaying. They are not regular drops, but they do drop fairly often.

3) Now move out of the caves into the main area of Dulak and find the Broken Skull Guardians (Level 40 to 42).

Kill them until you get an Insignia of the Blackblood. It took me a while to get one of these to drop!

4) Now for the hard part. The last item drops off a Windscorn Buccaneer (Level 47 to 50), who can be found on the toughest ship in the zone (the Windscorn of course).

This ship is located on the far end and left of the zone from Gunthak. Camp the ship and until you get an Insignia of Suffering!

5) Now head to Torgiran's Mines. Just inside the zone you should find Gandak Whisperwind (Level 44).

Give him the Medallion of the Emerald Warrior.

6) Then give him the four insignias and he will give you an Elven Medicine Bag.

.

7) Now head to the Western Plains of Karana and find Tarnic McWillows (Level 50) (in the area of n2270 n5570).

Give him the Elven Medicine Bag and he will give you an Antidote of the Wind.

8) Last stop is Greater Faydark. Find Faerik Windrunner by one of the lifts to Kelethin.

Give him the Antidote of the Wind and he will reward you with the Charm of the Emerald Warrior!

NOTE: The step to visit Faerik first, and have him give you a Medallion, which you then give to Gandak, is not required.

NOTE: This charm gets better with your Emerald Warrior Faction. Therefore, a visit to nearby Crushbone after you get it might be a good idea… to kill a boat load of Orcs to maximize your faction.
