This is a decent mask with a cool illusion clickie… even if it does have negative regen.

Even better, it is a unique and fun puzzle type of quest.

Names of the Sphinx     Atiiki Tongue Twisting     Order Squared

Realign the Lines     Broken Lines     Efreeti Death Visage

..............................

TASK #1 -- NAMES OF THE SPHINX

1) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: You are looking for Noble Sivrn (Level 75).

This zone is a big circle. In the middle (a bit off-center) is a large, deep, tiered pit (aka Sunken Garden). Sivrn is located in a tower on the southeast side (top) of this pit.

Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "I am willing," to get the task called, "Names of the Sphinx."

This entire task takes place in this zone.

.

2) This task isn't that hard, but it is tricky.

A few things to remember:

·         The NPC's can be hailed from anywhere in the zone, as long as you can get them on target! (UPDATE: This may have changed via patch. Unverified.)

·         Thus, a few Stalking Probes (for the Eye of Zomm effect) can be handy!

·         Hardly anything sees through invisible here, except undead and maybe some of the bugs in the Pyramids. So, a generous supply of Cloudy Potions is a must!

·         The Pyramids have bug traps that are nearly impossible to avoid. The bugs will pop and attack you. However, if you keep running, you can often out run them (or avoid the aggro all together) and they will despawn in under 45 seconds. The danger here is if they manage to hit you (you hesitate) or other MOB's nearby spot you after your Invis drops (train).

·         The easiest way to do this is with a high-end competent FD player. They can flop about to grab targets, or can run and set off the traps and/or train MOB's away from where you need to go.

·         If you are ubah enough and confident in your running/turning skills you can also run, hail and keep running to outrun aggro.

·         I did a combination of the last two options, above.

·         NOTE: The "Tertiary," "Quarternary" and "Quinary" pyramids are all side-by-side in the north part of the zone.

·         NOTE: Entering the Pyramids is accomplished by stepping on the portal pads on the top of each one.

·         NOTE: These tasks must be done in order, as one leads to the other.

This task requires you hail twelve (12) Level 80 NPC's, with a thirteenth (13th) NPC option. I never saw the last one...

The hails you need are:

.

3) Head back to Sivrn.

Hail him to complete the task and get about 1 AA in XP!

TASK #2 -- ATIIKI TONGUE TWISTING

1) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: Head back to Noble Sivrn, if you aren't all ready there.

Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "I am willing" to get the task called, "Atiiki Tongue Twisting."

This entire task takes place in this zone.

.

2) You need to find and kill A Large Scorpion (Level 71 to 73), until you get a Scorpion Stinger (Magic, No Trade, Weight 0.4).

A Large Scorpion is not a static spawn. You need to kill dervishes and cragbeasts for one to possibly spawn (in the same area).

They are located east of the "Sunken Garden,” in the desert area.

.

3) Take the Scorpion Stinger back to Sivrn and give it to him.

.

4) The final steps are to "pronounce" the Sphinx names correctly to Sivrn.

This is accomplished by typing (in /say) each name out in syllables, separated by a ( ) symbol. On my keyboard, this symbol is on the same key as the tilde (~).

So, /say (type) the following to Sivrn, one at a time:

·         A`ka`ra`ho`tu`ten

·         Xan`xi`on`us`us

·         Te`kel`fo`to`nan

·         Ma`ha`to`to`ta`rit

·         Shel`fez`mak`en

·         Viz`hiz`sha`zid

·         Roh`tre`po`ten

·         Yin`i`hor`tin`kah

·         Dez`thaz`ke`kol

·         Ki`kin`ko`u`tep`mo`zha

·         Quel`ti`zen`zu`mo`tif

·         O`sin`zu`hazh`fet

·         I`sil`is`in`is`u`sur`pa

Once done, the task is accomplished and you will get about an AA of XP!

TASK #3 -- ORDER SQUARED

1) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: Head back to Noble Sivrn, if you aren't all ready there.

Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "I am interested" to get the task called, "Order Squared."

This entire task takes place in this zone.

.

2) You now need to acquire at least two (2) Token of Order (Magic, Weight 0.1)… one (1) for this task, and one (1) for the final task.

This is a random drop in the zone (mostly inside the Pyramids). They are tradable and you do not have to loot it. You just need it for a hand in.

However... if you mess up step three (below), you will need another one to restart Step 3 (you do not have to start the task again).

.

3) You are looking for Mahatototarit (Level 80) (same one from the first task).

Hail and follow along or just try saying "Order."

Mahatototarit will ask for a Token of Order. Hand it over.

.

4) Just to the south, are a number of "Efreeti" type NPC's standing in a four-by-four section of rock squares (much like a checker board).

There are fifteen (15) Level 75 Efreeti and sixteen (16) squares.

The goal is to put the NPC’s in the right order (in the right row and in the right square). This is accomplished by simply hailing any one of them (they can be hailed from a good distance) and they will move to an open square to, if one is open next to them. If the open square is not up, down, left or right of them, they cannot move (no diagonal moves allowed).

The best way I can tell you to win this (move them about), is by working in circles and rotations. It is like that little brain teaser toy puzzle you may have had as a child, where you slide numbers about to get them in order.

So, take your time. You will need to get them in the following order (position yourself west of the board and face east):

<Empty>

Ozah

Neza

Meda

Lena

Kala

Jaka

Izah

Heda

Geza

Fana

Ena

Dena

Caza

Beza

Azia

.

5) After you figure this out, go back and say "I am done" to Mahatototarit.

.

6) Head back to Sivrn.

Hail him to complete the task and get about 1 AA in XP!

TASK #4 -- REALIGN THE LINES

1) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: Head back to Noble Sivrn, if you aren't all ready there.

Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "Attempt" to get the task called, "Realign the Lines."

This entire task takes place in this zone.

.

2) You now need to acquire at least four (4) Token of Alignment (Magic, Weight 0.1)... three (3) for this task and one (1) for the next task (Task #5).

This is a random drop in the zone (mostly inside the Pyramids). They are tradable and you do not have to loot it. You just need it for a hand in.

However... if you mess up step three (below), you will need more of them, to restart the Steps you mess up on (you do not have to start the task again).

.

3) Head back to Mahatototarit.

Hail and follow along or just try saying "Alignment."

Mahatototarit will ask for a Token of Alignment. Hand it over, then say, "Align Three."

.

4) Just to the east, is another area of "rock squares" in a grid pattern of three (3) rows.

Mahatototarit should have just told you how to realign the Level 75 Efreeti NPC's on the "game board."

These NPC's run up on the board after you say "Align Three." In this case, you should see Gigias, Lathik and Medious.

A few notes:

To make them move, you simply tell them, EAST, WEST or CENTER. If their way is not blocked, they will take a round about path in the direction you asked them to move.

You have to get them realigned in a certain number of moves, or fail.

I am impressed anyone figured this out, but there is a trick… so pay attention.

The directions I am about to give you are not specifically based on East, West and Center. They are based on where the NPC's are and where you need them to go.

So... where the NPC's are is the START Row. Where the NPC's need to move to is the TARGET Row. The other row is the FREE Row.

Looking at the game board, you now need to associate each of those rows with a direction.

So, if they are in the most western row to start, the Start Row is WEST and so forth. Thus, if Gigias needs to move to the Start Row (S), you tell him "West" in /say. You can speak to them from a good distance.

Now, the following directions should get this done for you, no matter where they start or where you need to move them.

A) Medious to Target Row

B) Lathik to Free Row

C) Medious to Free Row

D) Gigias to Target Row

E) Medious to Start Row

F) Lathik to Target Row

G) Medious to Target Row (this should do it)

.

5) Head back over to Mahatototarit.

Say, "finished" to complete this step.

.

6) Now say "Alignment" to Mahatototarit, then give Mahatototarit another Token of Alignment and then say, "Align Four."

.

7) Back to the game board.

This puzzle is the same as before, except an NPC named Simulat has joined the party.

The winning moves this time are:

I) Simulat to Free Row

II) Medious to Target Row

III) Simulat to Target Row

IV) Lathik to Free Row

V) Simulat to Start Row

VI) Medious to Free Row

VII) Simulat to Free Row

VIII) Gigias to Target Row

IX) Simulat to Target Row

X) Medious to Start Row

XI) Simulat to Start Row

XII) Lathik to Target Row

XIII) Simulat to Free Row

XIV) Medious to Target Row

XV) Simulat to Target Row (this should do it)

.

8) Head back over to Mahatototarit.

Say, "finished" to complete this step.

.

9) Now say "Alignment" to Mahatototarit, then give Mahatototarit another Token of Alignment and then say, "Align Five."

.

10) Back to the game board.

This is the same as above, as well, except an NPC named Tiniz has now joined the party.

The winning moves this time are:

I) Tiniz to Target Row

II) Simulat to Free Row

III) Tiniz to Free Row

IV) Medious to Target Row

V) Tiniz to Start Row

VI) Simulat to Target Row

VII) Tiniz to Target Row

VIII) Lathik to Free Row

IX) Tiniz to Free Row

X) Simulat to Start Row

XI) Tiniz to Start Row

XII) Medious to Free Row

XIII) Tiniz to Target Row

XIV) Simulat to Free Row

XV) Tiniz to Free Row

XVI) Gigias to Target Row

XVII) Tiniz to Start Row

XVIII) Simulat to Target Row

IXX) Tiniz to Target Row

XX) Medious to Start Row

XIX) Tiniz to Free Row

XXII) Simulat to Start Row

XXIII) Tiniz to Start Row

XXIV) Lathik to Target Row

XXV) Tiniz to Target Row

XXVI) Simulat to Free Row

XXVII) Tiniz to Free Row

XXVIII) Medious to Target Row

XXIX) Tiniz to Start Row

XXX) Simulat to Target Row

XXXI) Tiniz to Target Row (this should do it)

.

11) Head back over to Mahatototarit.

Say, "finished" to complete this step.

.

12) Head back to Sivrn.

Hail him to complete the task and get about 1 AA in XP!

TASK #5 -- BROKEN LINES

1) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: Head back to Noble Sivrn, if you aren't all ready there.

Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "Accept" to get the task called, "Realign the Lines."

This entire task takes place in this zone.

.

2) If you didn't hold on to any Token of Alignment, you will need at least one (1) more.

.

3) Head back to Mahatototarit.

Hail and follow along or just try saying "Alignment."

Mahatototarit will ask for a Token of Alignment. Hand it over, then say, "Align shifted."

.

4) Head back to the same game board as before.

While this one sounds scary on the surface, it is actually easier than the others (and uses the same NPC's).

The winning moves are as follows:

A) Tiniz to Free Row

B) Tiniz to Target Row and then to Start row (do these two moves repeatedly until Mahatototarit rearranges the board on you)

C) Gigias to Target Row

D) Tiniz to Target Row and then the Free Row (do these two moves repeatedly until Mahatototarit rearranges the board on you)

E) Lathik to Target Row

F) Tiniz to Target Row

G) Tiniz to Free Row

H) Tiniz to Start Row (Mahatototarit should now rearrange the board one last time)

I) Medious to Target Row

J) Tiniz to Free Row

K) Simulat to Target Row

L) Tiniz to Target Row (this should do it, total of 31 moves)

UPDATE: I have received information of a different way (or logic) to do this, if the above does not work: Move Tiniz anywhere, so long as the 15th move is to the Start Row; Gigias should shift automatically, once he does, move Gigias to the Target Row; Move Tiniz anywhere seven (7) times, so long as the 7th move is back to the Start Row; Lathik should shift automatically, once he does, move Lathik to the Target Row; Move Tiniz anywhere three (3) more times, so long as the third move is back to the Start Row; Medious should shift automatically, once he does, move Medious to the Target Row; Move Medious to the Free Row; Move Simulat to the Target Tow; and lastly, move Tiniz to the Target Row.

.

5) Head back over to Mahatototarit.

Say, "finished" to complete this step.

.

6) Head back to Sivrn.

Hail him to complete the task and get about 1 AA in XP!

TASK #6 -- EFREETI DEATH VISAGE

1) JEWEL OF ATIIKI: Head back to Noble Sivrn, if you aren't all ready there.

Hail him again and he should give you a Platinum Efreeti Mask (No Trade, Magic, Weight 0.9, All/All).

.

2) Now you need to kill random MOB’s until you get the full set of armor you need.

The best place to do this is around the Northern Pyramids, inside the Pyramids and even in instanced Atiiki missions.

They are semi-rare drops, but you will need to find and loot:

·         Platinum Efreeti Breastplate (No Trade, Magic, Weight 11.9, All/All).

·         Platinum Efreeti Greaves (No Trade, Magic, Weight 8.5, All/All).

·         Platinum Efreeti Gauntlets (No Trade, Magic, Weight 4.3, All/All).

·         Platinum Efreeti Boots (No Trade, Magic, Weight 5.6, All/All).

·         Platinum Efreeti Vambraces (No Trade, Magic, Weight 4.6, All/All).

·         Platinum Efreeti Helm (No Trade, Magic, Weight 3.7, All/All).

.

3) Now find Noble Phren (Level 75) (he is by with Sivrn).

NOTE: This step may be optional. However, you may want to do it anyway… just in case.

Hail Phren and then give him each of the seven (7) pieces of armor you have.

He will make a comment on each one.

.

4)  If you didn't retain a Token of Order, you will need to acquire one now.

.

5) Head back to Mahatototarit.

Put on the seven pieces of armor (yes, wear them).

Give the Token of Order to Mahatototarit.

.

6) Head back to the game board to the east.

This time you want to arrange the NPC's in the following fashion (position yourself west of the board and face east):

<Empty>

Azia

Heda

Geza

Fana

Ozah

Caza

Jaka

Meda

Lena

Ena

Beza

Kala

Izah

Neza

Dena

.

7) Head back to Mahatototarit and say "Done."

.

8) This should have caused Paza (Level 75) to spawn near the game board.

Hail him and you will get the Efreeti Death Visage.

Gratz!

You can put back on your real armor now.

NOTE: There is another optional step, but it is for Necromancers only.
