This item is a reward for a series of tasks. It is a nice Aug if you need ability bonuses!
You may need decent help to complete these tasks!
Further, these tasks are part of TSS Progression!

CHIPPED FANG OF THE LOST: Magic, Lore, No Trade; Weight 0.0; Slot 7 or 8; All/All; Spell Shield 3%, Avoidance 3, Stun Resist 3%, DoT Shielding 3%, Regen 3, Mana Regen 3, Damage Shield 3; Required Level 71.

THE QUEST
Zhubis is located at the top of the ramp/bridges, towards the Ashengate zone line.
If you are able to "ride the griffons," you are transported right to where Zhubis is.
NOTE: Have a bag slot open!
Hail and follow along or just try saying, "What information?" to get the first task called "Sabotage."
You will be given Zhubis' Collectors Satchel (Magic, Lore, Weight 3.0, 3-Slot Giant, 0% Weight Reduction).

2) ASHENGATE, RELIQUARY OF SCALE: You are here to collect three items, as follows:
· Ashen Powder (Magic, No Trade, Weight 0.1); It is a random drop off of various Drakes in the east wing;
· Magma Infused Crystal (Magic, No Trade, Weight 0.1); It is a ground spawn in the east wing; The easiest one to get is on the ramp to the far east, near the fort, on the left just before you go into the fort (not too hard to spot, if it is there);
· Workers Pouch (Magic, No Trade, Weight 0.1); It is a random drop off the "Drakkin" MOB's.
NOTE: These three steps are noted as "collect" steps. This normally means you can loot them in advance of having the actual task.

3) Now put the three items (above) in the Zhubis' Collectors Satchel and combine them to make a Satchel of High-Powered Explosive (Magic, Lore, No Trade, Weight 0.1).

4) The final step is to "plant" the explosives.
This happens automatically.
All you have to do is pass near the location
where you found the Magma Infused
It will explode for 4K damage... it will also hit you unless you get out of range fast enough.
This will finish the first task.

5) DIREWIND CLIFFS: Head back to Zhubis.
Hail and follow along or just try saying, "What information?" to get the second task, "Project Disarm."

6) ASHENGATE, RELIQUARY OF SCALE: Despite what the task steps suggest ("destroy"), you are here to either loot twenty-four (24) items or destroy certain targetable objects… either of which will get you one, or more, of the following task updates:
· Eight (8) Adamantium Drakkin Polearms (Magic, No Trade, Weight 0.1);
· Eight (8) Etched Drakkin Longsword (Magic, No Trade, Weight 0.1);
· Eight (8) Weighted Drakkin Whip (Magic, No Trade, Weight 0.1).
They all drop off of various "Scarlet Legion" Drakkin (Level 76 to 79).
You can also destroy targetable objects called A Rack of Weapons or A Weapons Supply Chest (both Level 71), which will give you multiple (5 or 6) random task updates (spread over the three categories).
This will finish the second task.

7) DIREWIND CLIFFS: Head back to Zhubis.
Hail and follow along or just try saying, "What information?" to get the third task, "The Weakest Link."

8) ASHENGATE, RELIQUARY OF SCALE: You are here to hunt and kill the following:
- Kill ten (10) A Scarlet Legion Eggtender (Level 74 to 76);
- Kill five (5) Unhatched Griffon Egg (Level 50).
These are in the far east, past (through) the castle.
NOTE: You can kill two birds with one stone (there's a joke there), if you also have the third Pezripisid task ("Bittersweet Memories"), as it also involves killing the exact same MOB's.

9) DIREWIND CLIFFS: Head back to Zhubis.
Hail Zhubis to finish this task and get your reward!
