BLACKFEATHER ROOST PROGRESSION
This is a set of tasks that allow you to progress from one "ledge" of this zone to the next.
There are six (6) tasks in total.
In order to traverse this zone, you will have to complete these tasks.
NOTE: Make sure you have a bag slot open before you go there!
NOTE: Invisible will be very handy here!

THE QUEST
1) BLACKFEATHER ROOST: You are looking for Fenith (Level 40).
Fenith is located straight into the zone, on the far left, by a large nest.
Hail Fenith and follow along, or just try saying, "I do." to get the first task called, "Blackfeather Roost - Travel to the First Ledge."
Fenith will give you a Fenith's Griffon Treat Kit (Lore, No Trade, Weight 1.0, 4-Slot Small, 0% Weight Reduction).

2) GATHER INGREDIENTS: Now you need to gather the ingredients for the combine you need to make.
The ingredients drop off the MOB's in the general area. You need:
· Bear Meat (Weight 1.0), it can drop off any of the nearby Bears (Level 47 to 57);
· Puma Paw (Weight 0.1), it can drop off any of the nearby Puma's (Level 52 to 57);
· Snake Meat (Weight 0.1), it can drop off any of the nearby Snakes (Level 56 to 57);
· Tuft of Bear Fur (Weight 0.1), it can drop off any of the nearby Bears (Level 47 to 57).

3) Once you have the four (4) ingredients, simply combine them inside the Fenith's Griffon Treat Kit to make a Griffon Treat (Magic, Lore, No Trade, Weight 0.1).

4) You are now looking for A Tame Griffon (Level 56 to 60), right there near Fenith.
Simply give the Griffon Treat to A Tame Griffon, to finish the first task.
You may be disappointed to find that you don't really get to "ride" a griffon as the task implies. Instead, you are able to simply step on the nearby nest and teleport up to the next ledge.

5) Turn back to Fenith.
Hail him and follow along or just try saying, "Give me a hint." to get the next task called, "Blackfeather Roost - Travel to the Harpy Grove."
He will give you another Fenith's Griffon Treat Kit.

6) Once again you need four more ingredients that drop off the nearby MOB's, as follows:
- Bear Meat (Weight 1.0), it can drop off any of the nearby Bears (Level 47 to 57);
· Snake Shedding (Weight 0.1), it can drop off any of the nearby Snakes (Level 56 to 57);
· Snake Meat (Weight 0.1), it can drop off any of the nearby Snakes (Level 56 to 57);
· Spider Eggs (Weight 0.1), it can drop off any of the nearby Spiders (Level 50 to 55).

7) Once you have the four (4) ingredients, simply combine them inside the Fenith's Griffon Treat Kit to make a different Griffon Treat (Magic, Lore, No Trade, Weight 0.1).

8) Now step on the "Nest Portal" to get up to the first ledge.
Invis up and head in and to the left to find another Nest Portal and another A Tame Griffon.
Simply give it the second Griffon Treat.
This will now allow you to use the second Nest Portal to get to the second ledge.

9) Use the Nest Portal to the next ledge and you will see Coryn (Level 60) standing nearby.
Hail Coryn and follow along, or just try saying, "I will take revenge" to get the third task called, "Blackfeather Roost - Travel to the Harpy Cliffs."

10) Now you need to seek out and kill two (2) A Harpy Noble (Level 57 to 58), here on this same plateau.

11) Once you kill them, go back to Coryn and say to him, "The deed is done."
He will give you another Griffon Treat.

12) Nearby, you will see another A Tame Griffon at a different Nest Portal (other than the one you came up on).
Give the Griffon Treat to the A Tame Griffon.
You are now able to use the Nest Portal to the third ledge.

13) Use the Nest Portal to get to the next plateau.
Nearby you should see Mestle (Level 60).
Hail Mestle
and follow along, or just try saying, "I accept" to get the fourth
task called, "Blackfeather Roost - Travel to the Harpy

14) You next step is to kill Lady Inthra (Level 58). She is located near the next Nest Portal.
Basically head down to the right and then veer to the left. Be careful not to fall off!
Once you find her, kill her!

15) Now head back to Mestle and hail Mestle.
Mestle will give you yet another Griffon Treat.

16) Head back to the Nest Portal where Lady Inthra was.
Give the Griffon Treat to A Tame Griffon that is nearby.
You are now able to use this Nest portal to teleport to the next plateau.

17) Use the Nest Portal to the next plateau.
Nearby you should see Ashrana (Level 60).
Hail Ashrana and follow along, or just try saying, "Royal Crest?" to get the next task called, "Blackfeather Roost - Reach the Royal Throne."

18) Your task involves killing five (5) Royal Guard (Level 60) and Captain Slarus (Level 62) (who can hit up to 1.7K).
I was able to solo all of these tasks (at Level 75), until this point. The MOB's you need to kill are all in close proximity and are not possible for a Paladin to solo pull. Thus, you may need a group, or at least a slower and healer, to do this one.

19) After they are dead, you need to loot a Royal Crest (No Trade, Weight 0.1) (can drop off any of the MOB’s you just killed).

20) Now head back to Ashrana.
Give the Royal Crest to Ashrana.

21) Now say to Ashrana, "Accomplish?"
This will get you the final task called, "Kill the Queen of the Harpies!"
You will need a good group or maybe a mini-raid for this one.

22) Behind where the Captain was, is another Nest Portal.
Use it to get to the final level of this zone.
You will be on a circular island with a big structure (aka the "Cage") in the center.
The first thing to do is kill all the trash MOB's on the outside and then pull and kill all the A Queen's Guard (Level 64) from inside.
There are about ten (10) of them. They can hit over 1K, but don't have that many HP.

23) Once done, it's time to kill Queen Elytl (Level 71).
She has an AoE 1.5K DD, has a DS and hits over 1K.
You need to engage and kill her before the Guards start repopping. One high-end group can do this, otherwise a mini raid or low level raid may be necessary.
24) After she is dead, she should drop six (6) Royal Emblem (Magic, Lore, No Trade, Weight 0.1) and other loot.
You need to loot one of the Royal Emblem.

25) Go back to Ashrana and turn in the Royal Emblem to finish the task.
You should receive the option to claim one of four (4) different rewards:
· Blackfeather Ablestone (Magic, Lore, No Trade; Type 7 Augmentation; Most Slots; Weight 0.0; All/All; STR 6, DEX 6, STA 6, CHA 6, CHA 6, WIS 6, INT 6, AGI 6; HP 25, MANA 25, END 25; Required Level 53;
· Blackfeather Focus Stone (Magic, Lore, No Trade; Type 7 Augmentation; Most Slots; Weight 0.0; All/All; HP 25, MANA 25, END 25; Extended Enhancement V; Required Level 53;
· Blackfeather Healthstone (Magic, Lore, No Trade; Type 7 Augmentation; Most Slots; Weight 0.0; All/All; HP 50; Required Level 53;
· Blackfeather Powerstone (Magic, Lore, No Trade; Type 7 Augmentation; Most Slots; Weight 0.0; All/All; MANA 50, END 50; Required Level 53;
· Blackfeather Shockstone (Magic, Lore, No Trade; Type 4 Augmentation; Range, Primary or Secondary; Weight 0.0; All/All; HP 15, MANA 15, END 15; Proc: Elytl's Shriek (125 DD); Required Level 60.
