!!!ALERT!!!

It has come to my attention that have been 'Server First' Achievements awarded on Live servers in recent years. Such as, 'Free Goranga: Server First.'

If anyone can provide me an image of any and all such achievements (link to me in game, or message to me on Discord), as well as any award (rumor is that they grant titles), please do!

AGENTS OF CHANGE, FABLED & RAID TARGETS

As a note, the Expansion Achievements Pages include everything about the related Expansion... not just the Achievements.

The linked Expansion / Category Specific Achievement pages detail more than just achievements. They also include lore, expansion bonus items, alternative coin types, sale prices, zones, original expansion cost (price) and even raid target starts / info.

Fabled versions of raid targets only spawn during the 'Legacy' Anniversary events and may or may not respawn as the 'Fabled' version (to include instances given by the Agents of Change).

There may also be question as to if a target qualifies as a 'Raid' target or not. Raid targets listed on the linked pages are based on a number of factors... such as if they were considered raid targets at the time they were added to the game; do they have a 'Fabled' version; do they give a Raid Combat Timer; do they drop Raid-type Gear (for the era); are they subject to respawn timers; and so forth. Even so, it is still sometimes difficult to differentiate, particularly in older expansions, a Raid target from a Group target. Thus, some of the 'raid' targets outlined on the Expansion / Achievement pages may actually be group targets.

An Agent of Change can by-pass any concerns of respawn timers. Agent of Change instanced events require at least six (6) actual Players / Characters and no more than seventy-two (72) Players. Once inside the instance, Players can break off into groups and use Mercenaries, but any Achievement credits will only be awarded to the group that gets the kill, so raid back up before that happens.

ACHIEVEMENTS

While these Achievement / Expansion pages are from a Paladin perspective, they can be referenced by all other classes since most achievements are common to all classes. The only variance to Achievements is in the General & Tradeskill categories... and even then the variances are small.

UPDATE: With the addition of the Persona feature to EverQuest, with the Laurion's Song expansion, it is now possible to complete all of the Achievements in this category, for all Classes, by creating a Persona of each Class. To be clear, these Achievements can be completed by the same Character, albeit with variant Personas. Upon creating a Persona and / or applying Heroics to said Persona, you generally get automatic credit for a number of Class Related Achievements, granted by default with the Heroic upgrade. Achievements are a one-and-done situation. Once completed, on any Persona, they are automatically completed for all Personas.

Achievements were first added in December 2009, with the Underfoot expansion. Every expansion since has included it's own achievement sets, but there are categories that are not expansion specific. There is one category (Hero's Journey) that is related to multiple expansions (these should really be in their actual expansion categories and mirrored back to Hero's Journey).

To be honest, Hero's Journey looks like a short cut to include achievements for multiple previous expansions ( The Serpent's SpineThe Buried SeaThe Secrets of Faydwer & The Seeds of Destruction) disguised as a "helper" category for newer players. However, they later added in a category for every previous expansion, as they should have done from the start, but they only included basics like Hunter, Explore, Raid and an overall General category. Perhaps they will one day go back and move the Hero's Journey achievements to their correct expansions and add missing categories to all of the older expansions.

More recently, they added content to the game that technically fell under an older expansion, even though they content was designed for more current levels and difficulty. Fittingly, they did add achievements related to that content to under the achievements for the older expansion (i.e. Plane of War was added to Planes of Power & Gnome Memorial Mountain was added to the Secrets of Faydwer).

However, there are still things that should have achievements but do not, such as an Explore for the Wayward Lady housing type, a Slayer for Snails / Slugs and perhaps a few others.

There are also no achievements for obvious things that have yet to be added, even though there are clearly some sort of background functions in the game they could utilize for the "checks" on the achievements. Such as acquiring all spells / disciplines by level (clearly there is a background "check" in place for the spells / disciplines you have scribed / memmed, or not). This one would fit nicely under the General Achievement category in the "Class" sub-category, for instance.

NOTE: Most listed Achievement rewards / reward options are the Half Elf / Paladin rewards. Unless an item is 'All / All' – other classes and races should receive similar reward(s) more suited to their class / race.

NOTE: Items listed as Reward(s), will only be noted if the reward(s) is / are something other than the standards (character experience, achievement points and / or currency). To be clear, I will not lost experience or currency, as one, or both, are standard awards for most Achievements.

NOTE: Items listed as 'ACQUIRED' are unique item's that can be, are, or should be acquired along the way towards completing an achievement... but is not actually a reward granted from the achievement itself. In fact, the achievement may even be for acquiring said item.

NOTE: As new achievements are added, the appropriate pages will be updated accordingly, as time permits.

ACHIEVEMENT WINDOW FUNCTIONS

Using the Achievement Window.

The Achievement Window (/ach) is more useful than most Players realize. You can compare Achievements with other Players, you can preview Achievement Awards, they are useful for keeping track of things (like Collection items, Progression, Quest series, etc.) and more.

Using the below images, here is how the Achievement Window works.
