SPELL: SILENT PIETY
This is also known as "Rescue the Ecologist of Expedition 328 from the Hive" -- one of the steps in the Depths of Darkhollow task.
The Depths of Darkhollow expansion introduced some new Paladin spells.
The Level 69 spell requires that you undertake and win a series of tasks/missions.
This spell is a direct damage to undead (1,200 HP). Further, it can also act like a snare to undead and lower their armor class.

NOTES ABOUT DoD TASKS/MISSIONS:
You normally are not allowed to choose a "Hard" version of any tasks/missions until after you have completed (won) the "normal" version or have completed the entire arc.
You can get in a hard mission, however, if you are grouped with someone who can get that option.
You cannot skip tasks/missions as you will not be offered the next task/mission until you have completed the previous one.
You can, however, get task/missions out of sequence if you are grouped with someone who can get a mission that is out of your "sequence."
Don't worry if you go out of order, as these missions do not have to be done in sequence.
One of the hardest parts of these missions is often getting there. A few pointers to remedy this is to download the maps, always use invis, always levitate, always travel over water where possible, stay together and be clear about directions.
Most missions provide a loot item... either from a chest that appears or from the corpse of a named MOB.
Most missions also reward each group member with a specific reward item that will appear on their cursor.
Players can be "gimped" into your mission. This means that if one or more persons in the actual group have won the mission before, they can leave the task before the final step. You can then /taskadd someone else so that they can get the credit and reward.
This other person does not have to be in the group or the zone, at all, to be gimped in.
The person who drops does not have to leave the group - just the task.
WARNING! Before the final step is accomplished -- make sure no one is zoning in any way (gating, zoning, dying...). If they are -- they will not get credit for the mission nor the reward.

THE QUEST(S)
1) PRE-REQUISITE: In order to get Brovil Pallivineg (Level 70) to speak to you, you must do a short side-quest.
STONEROOT FALLS: Simply kill the various Drachnids (Level 66 to 71) at the Drachnid Fort area, until you get a Cicero's Torn Notebook (Lore, Weight 0.5).
CORATHUS CREEP: If you read Cicero's Torn Notebook, it will tell you to give it to Model CG CVIII (Level 70). Do just that. This is a spider-like robot at the "crash site," in the area of n779, p374.
This will cause him to "activate" and speak. As a result of that, Brovil will make a comment and speak to you from now on.

2) THE LOST NOTEBOOK TASK (aka 69.1 or DS2 or Dreadspire 2):
This task/mission is the very same task/mission as the second Dreadspire Keep access mission. Rather than repeat it all here, click here for the details.

3) CAVERN BOTANY (aka 69.2):

CORATHUS CREEP: Find Brovil Pallivineg at the crash site. Hail and follow along, or just try saying, "I will gather some samples."
NOTE: Make sure you have a bag slot open before getting this task.
Choose either the normal or the hard version, if you are offered the option.
Upon getting the mission, you will receive Zimminfezer Sample Pack (No Trade, Lore, Weight 10, Giant 10-Slot, 0% Weight Reduction).
SPORALI CAVERNS: CAVERN BOTANY: Follow your compass and zone in.
The task is pretty straight forward. The MOB's are all Level 68 to Level 73 and can hit over 1K. It seems best to fight near the zone line and just pull and kill from there. You need to kill random MOB's until you collect:
Two (2) Sap Root Stem (Magic, Weight 0.2)
Two (2) Mindspore Toadstool (Magic, Weight 0.2)
Two (2) Manasheen Toadstool (Magic, Weight 0.2)
Two (2) Retch Spores (Magic, Weight 0.2)
Two (2) Nimbus Mushroom Stalk (Magic, Weight 0.2)
Now combine the ten (10) items you collected inside the Zimminfezer Sample Pack to make a A Full Zimminfezer Sample Pack (Lore, No Trade, Weight 10.0)
Once done A Chest (Level 1) will spawn near the zone line, with a random item in it.
CORATHUS CREEP: Now go back and give Brovil the A Full Zimminfezer Sample Pack to finish the task.
The Paladin reward for the normal version is a Hivegrime Stone of Health (Augmentation, Lore, No Trade, Magic, Slot 7 or 8, Weight 0.0, HP 35, MANA 35, END 35, Regeneration 4).
The Paladin reward for the hard version is Drachnid Skin Girdle (Lore, No Trade, Magic, Weight 1.0, AC 21, DEX 12, STA 14, CHA 13, WIS 19, FIRE 20, DIS 25, COLD 25, HP 195, MANA 195, END 195, Avoidance 10)

4) THE SEARCH FOR CLUES (aka 69.3):
CORATHUS CREEP: Find Brovil Pallivineg (Level 70) at the crash site. Hail and follow along, or just try saying, "Where should I start?"
Choose either the normal or the hard version, if you are offered the option.
No make your way to The Hive to find the entrance to this instanced zone. It is located in off the bridges area. Go in the second cocoon, up one level, down a cave and it is off to the right from that cave (beware traps and see invis).
THE HATCHERY (aka Living Larder): You need to find Wicyl, the Watcher (Level 72 to 73). He is in the southwest section of the zone (left through the tunnel and then left again through the doorway there). You will have to pull and kill your way to him. You can try to use invisible to get to him, if you wish. The zone is populated by various Drachnids (Level 68-ish to 72). Once you get to him, you need clear the area first.
Wicyl has a 1K DD with a root feature, and can Harm Touch for up to 1.5K. He is immune to slow. Be wary of aggro as your tank will likely be rooted at times. He can it for up to 1.5K, quads and can fear as well. In this encounter, you will only be able to get him to 50% health, at which point he will go invulnerable and wander away... leaving you with three summoned Drachnids to deal with all at once -- so be ready. Don't worry, if you loose -- there is plenty of time to regroup.
Wicyl fled to the room in the NW corner of the zone. This is straight out the door of the room you were in and across the way. You can pull/kill to there or try using invisible. However, once you are back to Wicyl, you need to clear the area again before you engage him.
This time you will be able to kill Wicyl. There will be no adds this time.
Once he is dead, a random loot item will be on his corpse along with A Hastily Written Note (No Trade, Lore, Weight 0.2). Loot the note (optional).
CORATHUS CREEP: Go back to Brovil and give him A Hastily Written Note (optional).
The Paladin reward for the normal version is a Hivegrime Stone of Deflecting (Augmentation, Lore, No Trade, Magic, Slot 7 or 8, Weight 0.0, HP 20, MANA 20, END 20, Shielding 1%).
The Paladin reward for the hard version is Drachnid Bone Mantle (Lore, No Trade, Magic, Weight 0.8, AC 23, DEX 12, STA 19, CHA 14, WIS 13, INT 13, DIS 25, COLD 25, POISON 25, HP 200, MANA 190, END 190, Shielding 2%).

5) RESCUE CICERO (aka 69.4):
CORATHUS CREEP: Find Brovil Pallivineg (Level 70) at the crash site. Hail and follow along.
Choose either the normal or the hard version, if you are offered the option.
No make your way to The Hive to find the entrance to this instanced zone. It is located off the bridges area at one of the dead ends there.
COVEN OF THE SKINWALKERS (aka The Cocoons): Once inside, you can either pull and kill the various MOB's (all in the area of Level 71, give or take two levels), or you can try to invisible (and levitate) to make you way up the ramp.
Up at the top, or near the top, in a room, you will find Kalyth, the Keeper (Level 71 to 73). Clear the area near him to avoid adds.
Now kill Kalyth. He cannot be slowed, can hit for 1.5K and is not snareable. He is a tough fight, but doable.
Now open the cocoons near him. Be ready, one may spawn a MOB, but one will definitely spawn Cicero Qwikwire (Level 65).
Hail him and follow along, with the key phrase being, "Follow us."
Cicero will now head for the zone line in an erratic way.
You need to follow him (he will not follow you) and keep him alive. As he makes his way down, he will open up A Cocooned Victim (Level 1). They will pop out MOB's.
Cicero will fight with you (and he was decent DPS too, and may often kill steal your group!)..
Once he reaches the zone line, A Chest (Level 1) will spawn right there near the zone in, with a random loot item inside.
The Paladin reward for the normal version is a Hivegrime Stone of Cunning (Augmentation, Lore, No Trade, Magic, Slot 7 or 8, Weight 0.0, HP 20, MANA 20, END 20, Accuracy 5).
The Paladin reward for the hard version is Drachnid Bone Ear (Lore, No Trade, Magic, Weight 0.6, AC 16, DEX 14, STA 19, CHA 13, WIS 12, INT 12, DIS 20, MAGIC 25, POISON 25, HP 195, MANA 195, END 195, Stun Resist 3%).
Undershore: Go find Brother Hidden Path (Level 70). He is up on the precipice outside the tent, in the southwest area of the zone (area of n920, p750).
Simply hail him to receive Spell: Silent Piety! Gratz!
