100% WEIGHT REDUCTION BAGS

Having bags is essential!

After all, you must have room to loot items in order to accommodate the need to sell looted items for coin; have room for alternate weapons; have room for clickies; have room for food/drink; have room to loot items for quests; have room for items that you need in trade skill combines; and so forth.

All this stuff can get really heavy, as well. If you get too heavy, you become encumbered. It is possible to become so encumbered that you literally can't move. Further, it an affect your fighting ability as well.

So, obviously, the most desirable bags to have and carry are the ones that have as many slots as possible (10), are as light as possible (the less the bag itself weighs, the better) and as big slots as possible (giant). This way, when you loot anything, it will fit in your bags and it will not add to your weight!

There are many such bags (or more properly, "containers") in the game.

This page is to reveal as many of them to you as possible... and reveal how you can get them!

1) BAG OF THE TINKERERS (Weight 1.0, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction):

1. Head to Solusek's Eye;

2. Find Marfen Binkdirple (Level 31), a gnome inside the castle;

3. He sells this item for about 5,250 Platinum, depending on your faction/charisma;

4. NOTE: This is the only 100% bag sold by a normal merchant.

2) MASTER BAKER CARRY-ALL (Weight 1.0, Lore, No Trade, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction):

1. Get your Baking skill to 250;

2. Complete the Master's Baker Tradeskill Trophy Quest;

3. Summon a Bag with your new Trophy;

4. Head to Bazaar and give that bag to Jolum (Level 60) and he will give you a Master Artisan Essence (Lore, No Trade, Temporary, Weight 0.0);

5. Combine the Master Artisan Essence in an Oven to get your new permanent bag.

3) MASTER JEWELER CARRY-ALL (Weight 1.0, Lore, No Trade, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction):

1. Get your Jewelry skill to 250;

2. Complete the Master's Jewelry Tradeskill Trophy Quest;

3. Summon a Bag with your new Trophy;

5. Combine the Master Artisan Essence in a Jewelry Bag to get your new permanent bag.

1. Get your Brewing skill to 250;

2. Complete the Master's Brewing Tradeskill Trophy Quest;

5. Combine the Master Artisan Essence in a Toolbox to get your new permanent bag.

10) LEATHERFOOT HAVERSACK (Weight 0.6, 10-Slot Giant, 100% Weight Reduction):

1. This bag is player made, by Halflings only (trivial Tailor Skill of 251);

2. You can either make it or have one made (recipe here).;

3. In Bazaar they are sold as a A Leatherfoot Haversack Token (Weight 0.1);

4. Find and give A Leatherfoot Haversack Token to Caerlyna (Level 60), to get the actual bag.

11) GRANDMASTER'S CARRY-ALL (Weight 1.0, Lore, No Trade, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Get any skill to a Level where you can make the trophy for that skill (they all Trivial around 250);

2. Then upgrade that trophy to the “Grandmaster” trophy;

3. Summon a bag with your Grandmaster's Trophy;

4. Head to Bazaar and give that bag to Jolum (Level 60) and he will give you your new bag;

5. There is only one (1) bag available (lore… you don't get one for each skill, as with the old Trophies).

12) ETHEREAL SATCHEL OF GATHERING (Weight 0.5, Lore, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Head to The Ruined City of Dranik;

2. Camp and kill Reinad Scalebreath (Level 71 to 72);

3. If you get lucky, he will drop the bag.

13) TREASURE HUNTER'S SATCHEL (Weight 0.4, Lore, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Head to The Emerald Jungle, Nagafen's Lair or Timorous Deep;

2. Camp and kill either Severilous (Level 60), Lord Nagafen (Level 55... you will have to be under Level 53 to do this one) or Faydedar (Level 55, not the Druid version), respectively (they are all about 3-day spawns);

3. If you get lucky, the bag will drop.

14) TAE EW HIDE SACK (Weight 0.1, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. This is the one of the most desired sacks in the game, as it is only 0.1 weight and it isn't lore;

2. This sack is player crafted and has a trivial Tailoring Skill of 295;

3. Head to the Bazaar and buy A Tae Ew Hide Sack Token (Weight 0.1);

4. Give A Tae Ew Hide Sack Token to Caerlyna (Level 60), to get the actual bag;

5. Or, if you wish, you can gather the items and see if you can get it made (or make it yourself) cheaper (recipe here).

15) IMP KINDRED BAG (Weight 0.5, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Do enough Dragon's of Norrath missions to earn 120 Ebon Crystals (Weight 0.0);

2. Or otherwise acquire the Ebon Crystals from other players (re: buy them in Bazaar);

3. You will need good enough faction with the Dark Reign (evil side) to use their merchant;

4. Head to Lavastorm Mountains;

5. Buy the bag from Xeib Darkskies (Level 70).

16) FAERIE KIN BAG (Weight 0.5, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Do enough Dragon's of Norrath missions to earn 120 Radiant Crystals (Weight 0.0);

2. Or otherwise acquire the Radiant Crystals from other players (re: buy them in Bazaar);

3. You will need good enough faction with the Norrath's Keepers (good side) to use their merchant;

4. Head to Lavastorm Mountains;

5. Buy the bag from Tatsujiro the Serene (Level 70).

17) FABLED BAG OF SEWN EVIL-EYE (Weight 3.0, Lore, No Trade, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Head to Lower Guk during the annual fabled events;

2. Camp and kill The Fabled Evil Eye (Level 60);

3. If you get lucky, the bag will drop;

4. NOTE: "Fabled" MOB's are only up once a year (March/April).

18) BOTTOMLESS BOX (Weight 1.0, Lore, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Head to Twilight Sea;

2. Camp and kill A Crag Ligi Warder (Level 29 to 33);

3. If you get lucky, the box will drop;

4. NOTE: This is a very rare drop.

19) BRAIDED TASSEL SPORRAN (Weight 1.0, Lore, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Possible random (rare) drop in the "Discover the Secret" (Korlach 3) mission, given out by Widdlethorpe Gemfinder in Stoneroot Falls.

20) GORBAK'S BAG (Weight 0.8, 10-Slot, Giant, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Find Gorbak (Level 70) in Icefall Glacier (area of p1647, n1327, in the Orc Fort)... it will take some effort to get to him and speak to him without aggro;

2. Hail him and follow along, or just try saying, "I get stuff," to get the task called "Gorbak's Supplies: Mammoth Hides;"

3. Whatever you do, don't say "Smash," or he will "smash" you for 600 HP and knock you backwards into aggro!

4. Now go kill ten (10) Mammoths of any kind (Level 63 to 73);

5. You also need to loot four (4) Icefall Mammoth Hides (Weight 4.0) (this may take more tan 10 kills);

6. Take the hides back to Gorbak to get your bag!

21) MASTER TOXICOLOGIST CARRY-ALL (Weight 1.0, Lore, No Trade, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. If you are a Rogue, get your Poison Making skill to 250;

2. Complete the Master Toxicologist's Tradeskill Trophy Quest;

3. Summon a Bag with your new Trophy;

4. Head to Bazaar and give that bag to Jolum (Level 60) and he will give you a Master Artisan Essence (Lore, No Trade, Temporary, Weight 0.0);

5. Combine the Master Artisan Essence in a Mortar & Pestle to get your new permanent bag.

22) MASTER RESEARCHER CARRY-ALL (Weight 1.0, Lore, No Trade, Giant 10-slot, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. Get your Research skill to 250;

2. Complete the Master Researcher's Tradeskill Trophy Quest;

3. Summon a Bag with your new Trophy;

4. Head to Bazaar and give that bag to Jolum (Level 60) and he will give you a Master Artisan Essence (Lore, No Trade, Temporary, Weight 0.0);

5. Combine the Master Artisan Essence in your research book to get your new permanent bag.

23) BANDOLIER OF LUCLIN (Weight 0.1, 6-Slot Small, Temporary, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. This item is summoned by a Magician. It is temporary in nature. If you camp while items are inside it, it will become disenchanted and will then weigh about 25 pounds with no weight reduction value. If you camp while it is empty, it will simply disappear.

24) BLOOD ENCRUSTED GLOVES (Weight 0.5, Lore, No Trade, 4-Slot Small, 100% Weight Reduction);

1. This is a ground spawn in Charasis, in the area of p313, n567. It is actually part of the quest for the master key for this zone (Hand of Glory), but that doesn't mean you can't keep it and use it as a bag.

25) BOX OF ABU-KAR (Lore, Weight 2.0, 100% Weight Reduction, 10-Slot Giant):

1. This item can possibly be awarded by GM's as a result of GM events (it no longer drops in game).

26) DARKWOOD TRUNK (Lore, Weight 2.0, 100% Weight Reduction, 10-Slot Giant):

1. This item can drop off of Fright, Dread, Terror (all three Level 55) or Cazic Thule (Level 70) in the Plane of Fear.

27) DRIFTWOOD TREASURE CHEST (Lore, Weight 2.0, 100% Weight Reduction, 10-Slot Giant):

1. This can drop off of A Ferocious Hammerhead (Level 37 to 45) in Kedge Keep.

2. Use the trophy to cast up (summon) one of these bags. They are not lore, so you can cast up all you want.

3. It is temporary in nature. If you camp while items are inside it, it will become disenchanted and weigh about 25 pounds with no weight reduction value. If you camp while it is empty, it will simply disappear.

4. You can convert this bag into a permanent "Carry-All" (see above listings).

42) SUPREME ADVENTURER'S SATCHEL: (Weight 0.5, 10-Slot, Giant, No Trade).

1. This item appears to be a GM-only award, from GM events.

43) UNDEAD PIRATE SATCHEL: (Weight 0.5, 10-Slot, Giant, Lore, No Trade).

1. This item seems to be only found on the "Legends" server in the Marauder's Mire zone.

44) KREGNAD'S KNAPSACK: (Weight 0.8, 8-Slot, Giant, Magic, No Trade).

1. This item is obtained via a quest.

2. Find Kregnad (Level 70) in Icefall Glacier.

3. Hail him and follow along to get the quest called "Bear Meat."

4. Kill bears in Icefall until you have four (4) Icefall Bear Meat.

5. Take the Icefall Bear Meat back to Kregnad for the bag!
